Happy Friday - Actor or Actress to Judge Worlds.

Domhnall Gleeson please, and in costume.

He's a frakkin' NERD who knows his stuff.

He's also a surprisingly decent actor, which you'd never expect watching him in the Star Wars movies. I didn't even realize it was him in 'Ex Machina' until about halfway through the movie, and we ended up watching 'Peter Rabbit' recently with the same effect. Going in, knowing to look for him, of course he's easy to see. But if you aren't paying attention to the cast, he has a habit of really blending in to a role.

Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano)
Ashley's enthusiasm and passion are downright contagious, and her active work in making geeky spaces more welcoming to women (especially Star Wars) is something I want to see in X-Wing. Also, she seems to have near mind-trick levels of persuasive power when it comes to getting Ahsoka to reappear, and I want more Ahsoka.

Janina Gavankar (Iden Versio)
Janina is a HUGE Star Wars fan, and I think she would genuinely get a big kick out of it. Bonus points if she judges in her full Iden costume. And I absolutely want to get my Iden card signed by her.

Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico)
From various stories about her working on The Last Jedi, it is clear that she has not only a major passion for the franchise, but that she wants to explore every aspect of it. She spent time off-call just wandering on-set or in the studios learning anything and everything she could about every aspect of the various departments involved in the production, and even helped build, paint, etc. when she could.

Freddie Prinze Jr. (Kanan Jarrus)
Freddie is a dyed-in-the-wool, card-carrying, old-school superfan. Like Janina, I think he would genuinely really like being at the event. I'm actually a little surprised that he doesn't already play (or maybe he does?).

I remember seeing a quite surprising list of well-known actors back in the day who played either D&D, Warhammer, or Warhammer 40k, so it wouldn't entirely surprise me.

Also, that never registered it was him. Was watching Wing Commander the other day, and for some reason the voice didn't twig.

Thinking about voice actors, Lars Mikkelson (Thrawn) might be awesome..

Daisy Ridley, no doubt. She is 60 portions of badass and joy.

Happy Friday! This is hard. So many good options to choose from. I think I’m gonna go with Mark Hamil. He also gets to commentate as the Joker.

The correct answer is THIS. Obviously.

What is WRONG with you people?!

He definitely plays other games. He's doing a semi-regular Edge of the Empire game on Twitch with Vanessa Marshall, Sam Witwer, Mary McGlynn, Taylor Gray, and Steve Blum.

Billy dee Williams the real lando!!!

In unrelated news, I watched the series finale of Big Bang Theory last night. Mark Hamill was easily the best thing about it.

Definitly Samuel L. Jackson.

"X-Wing Players! 20 fxxxxxx minutes left for this motherfxxxxxxxx round!"

Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega

Imagine Harrison Ford as the judge. I love him to pieces, but here's how it'd go:

He sits at a table in a far corner, with 1 or 2 assistants or friends. He spends most of the time on his phone. When asked for a ruling, he just gives a look that makes the inquiring player feel ashamed.

That's grumpy Harrison.

Alternatively, we get cuddly Harrison, and he's wearing his earring. He snakes between the tables, stopping when something catches his eye, and makes the players laugh with his jokes about ruling in favor of Han no matter what. He stops short when he sees a Boba Fett and gives a look that makes the Scum player feel ashamed.

It's Samuel L Jackson, surely? How is this even a discussion? :P

Go ahead! Say "Judge?" one more time, mother-****!!

Screw Star Wars. I say we resurrect Andre the Giant to help clear the way for judge calls.

Doesn't Snap Wexley actually play X-Wing? I heard that somewhere.

I’d say Mark Hamil is my number one. Dude has had a good career as a voice actor for (what feels like) most of our loved childhood shows.

Alternatively, Simon Pegg. But have him show up as Scotty just to mess with everyone’s heads.

John Boyega is actually fan enough to want to do it - Alan Tudyk would be cool too.

Alan - "Hi, my name is Alan Tudyk and I am here to judge this competition. Disney told me I had to."

Happy Friday CB!

I'd say Daisy Ridley first... it would be epic to have her walk by a table and say "that was lucky!" Second would definitely be Alan Tudyk.

Every round would start with him looking at the lists and saying "Hello, what have we here?"

He rules in favor of any Empire player, when asked why, responds, "I've made a deal with the Empire that will keep them out of here forever"

Ewan McGregor. He can lean over your shoulder and say such wonder things as:

"You can't win."
"It's over, they have the high ground."
"I hate flying."

Sam Witwer - The dude is nerdy enough to do it, and has done enough Voices to change things up.

Man, The Expanse really doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Best

Character

Ever

Such a shame that was canceled. Was a great show based on great books.

Amos is great of course, one of the best sci fi tough guys ever. Some of his backstory really makes you feel for the guy. I like James and Naomi the best from the books. The TV changes to Naomi made her a much worse character unfortunately. They are trying to reference things from her backstory that don't get fleshed out until like the fifth book. Her really shady history with the OPA to not put too fine a point on it. Anyway, despite that disappointment, still a great show.

Oh yeah, the actor. Adam Driver as Matt the Radar Technician. Sympathy cards for losers optional but appreciated.

"Hello, sexy!"
"That beat! I'm done!"
"I prefer cash."

This would be pretty f****ing darn-dang cool... as long as this SW celebrity plays the game as well.

This remains true no matter how many episodes of BBT you include in your sample size.
