All I know is that I had to wait 2 **** hours in ESB to see the Falcon finally blur the stars and jump into hyperspace. Seeing one ISD zoom away into the distance doesn’t cut it.

I remember years ago thinking someone should develop hyper-torpedoes, essentially the Star Wars equivalent of cruise missiles. Though, I was imagining missiles just traveling through hyperspace and appearing either inside enemy ships or near enough to not give countermeasures time to stop them. Hadn't thought of using the kinetic energy itself as a weapon, though.
