Boating? I guess they wont be keeping up the pace then. Once Leia and the Fleet Troopers are out, it seems like it'll be 6-8 weeks for the barricades and probably the same again for Han and the Commandos.

This game got bigger than they thought it might in this time frame. Good on the community. Be happy about it. We can wait a bit longer for plastic due to popularity. The sky is not falling.

I actually told my FLGS that I hang out with (that did not take preorders) that one of their competitors across town does take preorders. I expressed that I WANT to order here and don't want to miss out. They are planning to change policy shortly.

I think he was talking about the priority supplies.

FFG loves to sell out of their product, even if it means not meeting demand. They hate over producing and burying tons of cards in the New Mexico desert, just like most businesses.

I'm fine with that. At least the gap if after unit parity is met and it gives me time to finally catch up with painting.

Also helps justifying picking up a second atst for my imperials.

If I were them I would have stretched it a little more to give more coverage to the year. We'll see how it actually shakes out. We're not sure how far along on the boat the new mission pack is anyway, or how deep into printing Han and his bros are.

Agreed, I won't mind the wait- I too have a bit of catching up to do with painting when trying to have variable 800pt lists for both factions...another AT-ST is on my list too

I was thinking the same thing- which made me wonder if this first "wave" isnt over yet... mainly because there is the "stationary" unit mentioned on the conditions card in the priority supplies pack. Would be weird to include that in the first objective pack when we havent seen anything of that type yet, whether it is another new unit type or not. My best guess is that's what will be announced next for the game. Probably have that in hand at the end of this calendar year.

I think the release will be the following:

mid-June: Priority Supplies

Late july/august: Han and Commandos

Late September/October: Boba and Scouts

November/early December: "stationary unit" or maybe a new battle mat(s) and/or objective kit. Stuff that would fit for players of both factions would nicely round out the year and be good gifts for the holidays.
