I think they might give the TIE/sf a ‘gunner’ slot. Before, I think they wanted to avoid people from putting any odd crew in it.
Will 2.0 have any ‘canon’ upgrades...
Yup, we do know there's a whole new slot type dedicated purely to Gunners, which looks like it will be giving out free shots or free turret moves or both?
There's a Veteran Turret Gunner which is an extra turret slot, and a Veteran Tail Gunner, but we don't know yet what that does I don't think.

Veteran tailgunner is show in the Scum Preview article, actually; It let's you perform an attack out of your rear arc after you attack out your front arc.

See here, tail gunner gives you the /sf title, pretty much
That's gonna be an expensive slot. Hopefully.

It's actually out of a mobile arc you haven't attacked from yet
Is therefore worthless on SF
gotta wait for tailgunner to pop up again
No, it's not. Veterna TURRET gunner is a mobile you've not used yet.
Veteran TAIL is 'after you perform a primary V attack, you may perform a bonus primary ^ attack' with the prerequisite of having a ^. V and ^ here being the front arc and rear arc symbols.

There's both a veteran tailgunner and a veteran turret gunner. One works with rear arcs, one works with mobile arcs.
You can currently see them side-by-side here. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WBD6vYa6cXMFsQNdbfSK1kjQdscdsQ_aLfMTbGqRsfY/edit#

Sabine, Wedge, and Hobbie escape in a TIE Bomber from Skystrike Academy. Wedge pilots in the traditional spot while Hobbie goes to another station situated in the other pod. The hexagonal port on the ordnance pod is apparently a viewport.
Was it a standard TIE Bomber or a trainer?
I would love for the bomber to get a gunner slot. But 4 gunners on a Punisher is...weird.
oh found the tail gunner, neato
wish it was 1.0 tailgunner though. the spec ops effect basically never triggers for me as it requires your opponent to play REALLY nice with you

I've used ops spec quite a few times for double shots with the SF. The downside in 1e being that you lose the third attack die for the front arc (though if you're flying backdraft and wanted the reaar shot anyway, there's no reason not to take the front shot first if you have one). Presumably, in 2e the SF will just have a 3 attack front arc and 2 attack rear arc, so if it gets a gunner slot for veteran tailgunner, you can take the double shot without that penalty.
Never had anyone be so obliging, especially not with two ship lists
Only time I ever got it off was with Backdraft when his primary target (rau) was behind him
Got to foward shoot manaroo first
Double blanks anyway ?
Got rau, though

I haven't see B-wing fire at all. ^^

Since the episode showed training pods, I'm believing that it was an actual bomber.

They did in Rebels.. prototype had a powerful convergence beam and proton torpedoes were mentioned.

Yep, but that was after 30 years of established EU stats.

I mean. Different path, but same freaking destination!
When he 'died', what happened to his mechanical hand?

It's filled with his mitclorians and therefore part of him.

His mechanical hand is, but cloths/lightsaber and other objects are not?
I could just be a plot error... but that criticism might apply to the whole shebang.

Or the rest of his clothes? The only thing left was his cloak.

I was under the impression that the +1atk front-only represents the turret shooting the same target as the fixed forward guns...

That was always the assumption. But I can't imagine them only giving us a 2 die primary on the SF in 2e, unless it has a built in ship ability similar to the title. In which csae, we still probably woulnd't get the gunner upgrade slot...

The same thing that happened to his non-living hair and underwear. It all disappears as well. Go back and watch Yoda fading away, he takes some clothes with him.

Ahh, so hobo-Luke did not practice good hygiene... and the miticlorines thrived?
