So ... this X-wing is also a game ?

Here's hoping we get Flappy wings on the Gunboat. It would serve absolutely no purpose in gameplay, but I'd still buy some.

I could see them giving the TIE Defender the Rebels "TIE Defender Elite" paint job, if for no other reason than to try to seel a few new models. It would probably work too, as I'd buy one even though I have too many Defenders as is, and have already painted one like that.

Deceptions, even.

Bor Gullet will know the truth.

I wonder if they'll shink the A-Wing a little?

B-Wing's with rotating cockpit and folding wings. This is all I ask from 2.0.

Doubtful, since Rebels showed it at the current size.

Wait the Silencer was not to scale? Someone necro my topic about how garbage that decision was.

I think stuff changed between when they were given concept art and when it appeared in the film, I mean I know that the Silencer was only really given missiles once RJ saw the toy of the silencer and how it had been given spring locked missiles and he loved the idea of it.

They were only grey in Star Wars because they couldn't figure out how to get the blue screening process to work correctly with the desired blue/grey coloring. That said, if you like the off-white TIEs, I have 3 I am trying to get rid of, PM me :)

I physically handled the models direct from the core set FFG had at the event, and they were definitely the same blue/grey color (or darned close to it) as the TIE/ln models included with the Gozanti Assault Carrier.

Good to hear, now I can have my Imperials all flying the same color instead of the standard Ties being off color.

And these are my best guesses.

Rebels: 17 Ships

X-Wing: Opening and Closing S-foils. Core Set comes with Luke/Red Five paint scheme while standard expansion comes with usual Red Squadron paint scheme.

Y-Wing: Completely new mold with better paint scheme.

A-Wing: I'd imagine same mold and paint scheme unless they wanted to change the mold to fit Rebels or to give it a Phoenix Squadron paint scheme.

Falcon: Likely same mold and paint scheme, though they might use the TFA mold and change the antenna dish to be round.

B-Wing: They might use same mold with different paint, or if they could get it to work maybe some kind of rotating action that opens and closes the wings?

HWK-290: I'd imagine same mold and paint scheme unless someone decided that the HWK is bigger now and they move it to a medium base.

E-Wing: Same mold with possibly slightly altered scheme unless it shows up in Resistance with a new look.

Z-95: Likely same mold but maybe with red squadron markings instead of blue.

YT-2400: I imagine they might swap it out with the Rebels version for the mold.

K-Wing: Likely same mold aside from new pegand paint scheme unless anything changes between now and its release.

Ghost: Same mold and paint scheme unless they make the Phantoms able to actually dock with the rear.

Phantom: i'd imagine the same paint scheme and mold unless they actually modify the Ghost to be able to dock the Phantom and Phantom II into it.

Arc-170: If the trailer is anything to go by looks the same aside from the new peg. Maybe opening and closing s-foils but that would probably be really fiddly.

Sabine's Tie: Likely the same since the base Tie mold still looks the same.

U-Wing: Same mold but with new peg, probably same or similar paint scheme.

Auzituck Gunship: I'd imagine same mold and paint job.

Phantom II: Same mold and paint scheme.

Imperial: 14 Ships

Tie Fighter: Looks to be same mold but in Imperial Blue rather than white.

Tie Advanced: Looks to be same mold but in Imperial Blue rather than white.

Tie Interceptor: Likely same mold and still Imperial Blue.

Tie Bomber: Likely same mold and still Imperial Blue.

Lambda Shuttle: Same mold, hopefully with slightly better hinged wings (I have one of the first run and they don't go all the way down).

Tie Phantom: Same mold and still Imperial Blue.

Tie Defender: Possibly new Rebels mold but Imperial Blue.

VT-49 Decimator: Likely same mold and scheme.

Tie Punisher: Aside from new peg likely same mold and scheme.

Tie Advanced Prototype: Possibly hinged wings to open and close though likely same mold and either still Imperial white or painted blue to match the others.

Tie Striker: Same mold and still Imperial Blue.

Tie Aggressor: Same mold and still Imperial Blue.

Alpha Class Starwing (GUNBOAT!): Same mold and still likely Imperial grey, maybe with foldable wings like the Lambda. Or maybe a mix of the original paintjob and the one we have now.

Tie Reaper: Aside from new peg likely same mold and still Imperial Blue.

Scum: 15 Ships

Firespray: Same mold but with brighter green to make it more screen accurate.

Fang Fighter: New mold with pivoting wings and slightly altered paint scheme.

Z-95: Likely same mold with a similar paint scheme, unless we see scum Z-95s in Resistance and they go with a paint scheme from that.

Y-Wing: New Rebel mold with either the existing Scum paint scheme or a new one.

HWK-290: Same mold unless the Rebel version changes, though if released as a seperate expansion likely will get a more scum/interesting paint scheme.

Starviper: Likely same mold and slightly enhanced paint scheme. Would be neat if they gave it opening and closing wings, would certainly help store it.

M3-A Interceptor/Scyk: Likely same mold and original paint scheme.

IG-2000: New medium peg but same paint scheme and mold.

YV-666: Likely same mold and original paint scheme.

Kihraxz Fighter: Likely same mold with possibly same or new paint job.

G-1A Starfighter: Same mold aside from new larger peg and likely same scheme.

Shadow Caster: Likely same mold and paint scheme.

Quadjumper: Likely same mold and paint scheme.

Scurrg: Likely same mold and paint scheme.

Kimogila: Likely same mold aside from larger peg with same paint scheme.

Resistance: 3 Ships

T-70 X-Wing: Possibly opening and closing S-foils but otherwise likely same mold and general blue squadron paint scheme.

Falcon (TFA): Likely same mold with same paint scheme, possibly without the engine thrust bit from the Aces expansion.

Resistance Bomber: Likely a new more screen accurate mold possibly in blue instead of red depending on if ST seems to use more Blue Squadron than Red Squadron decaled ships. Current, Film. Possibly moved to a medium base.

First Order: 4 Ships

Tie/FO: Likely same mold and paint scheme.

Tie/SF: Likely same mold and paint scheme.

Upsilon Shuttle: Likely same mold and paint scheme.

Tie Silencer: Already announced that it would get a new smaller mold to be more in line with the film, likely fixing the error with its rear. Current vs Film. Likely same paint scheme.

Headcanon it as the Empire upgrading their production of TIE Fighters between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.

I believe the cannon explanation was that the DS had an Imperial Army garrison which uses the light grey instead of the blue grey of the Imperial Navy squadrons.

Probably just to explain model issues like the whole Imperial I and II Star Destroyers thing.
