I've got room for Leia but the Fleet troopers might be kind of tricky. I definitely can fit in the maximum number of legal units for any list, which is pretty cool. And it only cost me about $1 for the flashing plus the magnets I already had in the bases. Found some sci-fi papercraft online that I added some signs to in GIMP, measured and color printed it, then glued.

Very cool! Did you magnetize the underside of the airspeeder?

Thanks! Not yet...about to do a ball magnet on it which should help keep it in place, though I might not do the upside down test on it regularly.

Looks great! How'd you do the artwork?

I just googled "sci-fi papercraft walls" and clicked around until I found some stuff. Saved the images and used an image editor to select the exact measurements of the box and crop to that size (and added labels for my units). Then just color printed and glued.

The airspeeder stand fits vertically in that box and still lets it close all the way? I've done the same thing with mine and it seems too tall... Maybe the steel li put in the bottom is thicker than whatever metal you're using.

No, it's a couple mm too tall. I don't put any downward pressure on the top of the closed box--the box top fits snugly enough on the sides that it's resting very softly on the top of the speeder base.
