The squad builder I'm using allows me to equip a modification to each card of a 2-card Epic ship. Like if I want Automated Protocols on the Aft and Optimized Generators on the Fore. Is this legal?

Rules are each ship may equip one modification. The two cards make one ship. Hope that helps.

Nope. It's been known for a very long time, but the squad builder maintainers don't want to change because 2 card ships mess up their programs.

2nd edition might change this. In a year or 3...

I use Aurora Squad Builder on iOS and this only allows one mod (thanks to @VanderLegion )

Useful to know. I use Fab's builder on my pc and it also works properly. But 2 of the most popular ones mess this up.
