I’m looking at trying my first imperial run on epic this summer so I can say I’ve flown everything. Our area is running a summer league for epic games. One game/month.
Here is what I’m thinking for the empire. Gunboats are a little spendy but I have no other idea when I’d ever get to load them up like that. Should I drop adv slam for LRS and make it a two turn attack (one to set up, one to slam in).
I am envisioning my raider primarily gunning for fighters, with defender support. The gunboats will try to cripple the rear section of the opponent’s epic ship if possible. The VI is to just get high enough ps that they’ll be above average enough to make the jump over the epic ships and tie most mid-range fighters I expect to see.
