Will we finally have a shuttle Tydirium or resistance tie/sf?

By erik2point0, in X-Wing

Tyderium I could see - it was in Rebel hands for a long time, and wasn't destroyed at Endor (I think). But I doubt it's a priority.

A Resistance /sf? Poe literally flew that ship for 30 seconds before being blown out of the sky. Just no.

I agree the cross-faction should be stamped out to allow the game to have a "heart." I think the Shuttle should remain Imperial as too should have the TIE/LN and I throw up in my mouth a little every time I see or hear of that stupid monstrosity of plastic and all things good and right in the gaming world. But logically, if they should have added this, it should have been quite a bit more expensive than an equal PS Imperial TIE/LN, as it has the illicit slot and crew slots; they are worth lots of squad points; it should have cost somewhere in the high 20s base. If you want to fly that, you should pay for it, it should be around 1/3 of your list.

Suffer for you insolence. Feel the pain of your treachery. Pay for your crimes.

I guess everyone knows where I stand on this.

...now where's my tea?

Perhaps every Imperial ship should just come with alternate rebel pilots.

What about a special event that re-creates the Battle of Endor? You could temporarily allow one Lambda in Rebel lists for a limited time.

What about all the Imperial players that bought the Firespray to play Boba-gator, though? :P

the color scheme works in scum, that bright tie is not imperial regulation!! ;)

Why? I can't use my imperial firespray anymore? Why do rebels still get TIEs?

You have to wait for Sabine to steal it, paint it all bright so it can fit into the rebel faction first. then after that, the empire will have to steal it back and research ways to improve it, but that will take a long time. so long that the paint fades to shades of white and black and then the first order can use it and the empire gets left out again.

Sabine's Star Destroyer coming soon.

And we thought Booster Terrick’s red ISD was a sight to see, I want to see how she paints her ISD. ;)

The only vessel I could see possibly getting the multi faction treatment any time soon is the Zeta-class from Rogue One, mostly do to it being the ship at started the Battle of Scaraf, but even that one’s a long shot.

This is bs.

Well, at least they didn't steal anything iconically Imperial or anything...

So we need an imperial Sabine... Maybe we can get a time loop going, so young loyal imperial cadet Sabine is brought into the present.

The story arc being that the rebels recognize that having an army of 3 or 4 Sabines would make them the greatest power to ever exist anywhere in time and space! So they break through the time barrier to pull Sabines from the past, except in doing so they lock the Sabines into the time they existed so the 2 Imp loyal Sabines are perma loyal to the Emperor! Basically the rebels accidentally give the empire a weapon worth 100 death stars! Now the galactic civil war goes into overdrive!

But on a serious note, I wonder if we might get the Mining Guild TIE for Scum. Based on the fluff in the RPG, it might have a different dial, unlike Sabine’s, since it supposedly didn’t have as much power (due to the cut-outs on the panels), so maybe 4 or 3 max speed? It isn’t needed, as the Z95 fills the role in game, but it is canon, and looks kinda cool.

As for the Zeta, that might be a bit harder due to it seems to be twice the size of a Lamda, and an absolute slug. Might be seen as an objective, portrayed only as a tile, and with fixed moves.

Imperial Players. Not Even Once.

Around Sabine's Starkiller base orbit Sabine's Deathstar I & II.

Sabine is going to need a lot of paint.

Sabine's TIE was superior to the Imperial TIE in every way. Imagine the uproar if the Imperials had gotten the X-Wing fix and the rebels didn't. Also, a crew slot in that was stupid.

Also, the only difference between regular scum and rebel scum is that one craves money while the other craves power. If anything the regular scum should be offended by the comparison.

It's in the real of possibility that FFG OP will rub these official themed events that they are talking about. You could see a Rebel Lambda in such a list. I'll admit not likely, but possibly.

Implying

I think the difference between ‘Sabine’s TIE’, and your generic Imperial TIE/ln, is that the rebels were willing to highly jury-rig the ship, doing stuff that would not make sense for a general use fighter. The crew? Sitting on a cramped ‘jump seat’, barely able to move. The Illicit? Stuff literally strapped down (inside or outside) that the Imperials just don’t use.

Personally, I think Sabine’s TIE should have been made ‘you can only have one of this ship in your list’, but hey, they do want to sell extras.
