I wonder if they will make it a standard clan? Or make it a PvPPP where one player plays an OP Shadowlands and all other fight them? Thus introducing their much rumored multiplayer !

I have heard there will be lots of cool Mantis stuff. But yeah, the wording leads me to believe Shadowlands in some form.

That drawing? Certainly not what I had in mind when I read that fiction. In fact, after the way she scolded Yoritomo, I created a mental image of an old woman, all wrinkly and with white hair, like a nana.

Dunno, this girl scolding the Son of Storms as if he were a child? I don’t see it.

Sorry, just hate it when my imagination does not match the art. That’s why I can’t see movies based on books that I’ve already read...

As a critic who has discussed this at length in several areas (and it is a conversation that this game ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO HAVE!), I will always stand by that cultural appropriation is not inherently bad (context matters a LOT), and that present L5R is a lot less white-washed than previous iterations. Movement on this issue towards a more ethnically, religiously, culturally diverse Rokugan is essential in moving this game and its fandom away from the Orientalism of its origins.

Yes, Oni don't wait in the shadows, they cast shadows on the smaller, puny humans. On the contrary, a lot of Scorpions spend most of their time in the shadows...

I'd much rather get a Scorpion pack than a Shadowlands. You don't need a shadowlands faction until Hantei XXXIX is revealed to be possessed by Fu Leng. And even after that, this game doesn't need a shadowlands faction.

So we could get a Scorpion pack to get them back on track after Cycle two move them from under the spotlight?

I like diversity. I always thought that Rokugan needed giraffes.

yep its definitely a Scorpion clan pack they are not quite "there" yet so need some more help ?

As long as they provide my Lion the proper counter card this time, its fine even if it is Scorpion.

Something like, Action: Discard a Dishonor token from any Character in play.

Based on careful analysis of the spacing (IE a few of us looking at it for 30 seconds), What it does it has to be pretty short, so Honor, Dishonor, Bow, or Ready makes the most sense.

Scorpion is entirely possible, but, man that seems like it would be a really bad move for the immediate health of the game considering Scorpion are already one of the top clans right now.
