Best possible Boba Fett list?

By Mandalore of the Rings, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

I know Fett is overpriced but I like the challenge. I've been trying to think of a halfway decent list featuring our favorite Mandalorian. I also wondered if anyone else had any good lists?

How does this list idea look? I'm going to try it out this weekend...

Boba Fett (13)

IG-88 (12)

FotK (0)

Greedo (4)

2x eJawa (3)

Chopper or R2D2 (3)

C3PO (2)

(or switch out one of the R2s and one eJawa for 3 more r Jawas or Jabba). I was thinking the more activations, the longer you can wait to use Boba and with both IGGY and Bobby the opponent would have to choose which to go for. Also a focused Fett would be scary and with 3po to help on defense too, harder to kill.

Any ideas on this possible list or any other creative Boba Fett lists?

I have no idea whether this is even playable (and it's probably not competitive), but I had an idea that I'd like to try for an Imperial points-denial list that includes Fett.

13 - Vader w/ Driven by Hatred

13 - Boba Fett

5 - Regular Riots

5 - Regular Riots

2 - Imperial Officer

1 - Zillo

1 - Temp Alliance

Full list of command cards here...

... but the idea is that there's really nothing in that list that your opponent wants to shoot at. The riots are there to go for objectives, and it feels bad for your opponent to shoot at them and to have to chew through all that armour for a measly two points. Fett and Vader are both really hard to kill as it, and defensive cards like Brace for Impact (extra black die), Emergency Aid (riots can use it to recover 3 on vader/fett) and Mandalorian Tactics (2 x Recover 2 for fett) make that even more frustrating. I also included Harsh Environment (adds +1 block to all figures on an interior space, shout out to @GottaBadFeelingAboutThis for the idea) which is basically zillo fodder on Nal Hutta but should be useful on the other maps.

The plan is not to wipe out the opponent's army, but rather to grab what objective points you can, kill a few key figures and then survive until time is called. I'm not saying that this is a super-competitive list and there are a half-dozen ways to break it, but in a casual tournament I bet that you could take a few people off guard the first time you bring it out.

I thought Sabine was our favorite mandalorian

The alternative to IG (i don't know if it's better or not)

13 Boba

14 2x eWeequay

TA 6 Gideon 3P0

4 reg clawdite / Greedo / Hired Guns

2 reg jawa

Black Market

Add all the Hunter cards

see what happens.

My favorite Boba list is a minor tweak of the typical IG-88, double Weequay list as buckero mentioned:

14 Boba Fett + Prey on the Weak

14 x2 eQuay

4 Greedo

3 Gideon

2 C3P0

2 rJawa

1 Temp. All.

Boba is no IG, but he can still be a nice threat when focused with PotW. The double eQuays really adds the necessary firepower to complement Fett. They give him a bit more free reign to fly around, draw enemy fire with his strong defense, and get into position to play his CC. Gideon and 3P0 do what they do best and the Jawa is a terminal sitter. Annnd GIA.

I've only played it maybe a couple of times, but I remember my enemies going for Boba. His defense easily kept him alive while Greedo and the eQuays picked them apart. Boba did some nice work too though in the damage department and getting his CC to work was pretty awesome. The list is not Tier I cause of Boba's shortcomings to IG, but it's a fun way to get Boba on the board and have competitive games.

yeah any variation of this. I think IG is more scary, but you will need a figure and activation count to a certain degree to make it work.

Someone has to grab objectives and the reason I like Black Market is you've got to get command cards rolling to make everyone more deadly. R2 D2 would be useful as well

I've played a lot of Boba Fett this past year. I found "Prey on the Weak" essential for him, unless you want to use Jabba. Jabba gives him the focus and can bring out good cards he can use. But, also, he can "order hit" and give Boba another attack if necessary. Also, stack your deck with re-roll cards, you're going to need them when he wiffs. LOL

I like sending him at end of first round to get/challenge some far off objective. Then the start of round he can pounce. He's overcosted in the current game yes, but definitely still fun and potentially viable in the right hands and against the right opponent.

Boba Fett

IG-88 w/ FotK

Greedo

C-3PO

R2-D2

Devious

7 acts with Devious. Boba Fett exists solely to camp an objective and give IG an extra activation via Change of Plans.
