For the record, everyone I have talked to has said they want the details...
I think JBot greatly overestimates the size of the FFG staffing situation... They aren't that big a company.
My opinion, and it carries about as much weight as a colander full of water, don't get into detail on every update 2.0 brings. That's a lot of data to pour through and long slow 'cast to listen to. Touch on stuff, don't discuss it unless it's of HUGE interest. I'll admit though, I liked the slow fade as the Ewoks did their happy landing chants.

I was trying to find info and hopefully detail about this but I haven't seen it anywhere. Does anyone have a reference for this?

FFG said there would be a path forward for veteran players but not specified what that would be. Not sure I can quote the exact source for you though. One of the collective threads has it pinned down.
Yeah, I can't recall exactly which video interview it was and what exactly was said, but it was something vague and uncertain, as if they didn't know for sure yet.

I think this was in one of the team covenant interviews? Not sure where I heard it but I'm quite sure there will be these wave X conversion/update kits released by faction

Your last two podcasts have been great. Very positive and I liked the fact you seemed to be getting on each others nerves a bit like the bickering between Han and Leia ? . I think a podcast isn’t the place to go through every card. I mean it will take hours and hours, maybe even days to do it! You’ll need to get the format right and really stick to a schedule. Maybe you could focus on a new mechanic - force, calculate*, charges - and then highlight how they work with some of the cards. Or perhaps pick up on the 1.0 “favourites” and how they have changed e.g. the TIE Phantom would probably be a good one to discuss knowing the history on the podcast ? . Perhaps cards which have surprised you the most and why.
*In total extrapolation mode I wonder if Thrawn will have calculate? ?
