Obviously it wouldnt trigger off the specific crit that gave you that card, otherwise why would it even exist, but if it can trigger off the 2nd crit in a hit/crit/crit attack its still just as bad as direct hit. That makes the deck what 1/3 double damage effectively? Even if thats the way its currently viewed i cant imagine it stays that way.

Why not? Hull breach (which would, of course, have to start off as a crit) would be converting the first FL to a crit, same as all the rest.

Looks like given a pre-existing Fuel Leak, if you suffer 2 uncancelled crits, you could net 11 crits off of them: HB, FL x3, DH x5, and then TWO other crits of some sort. We are going to need the stack for this...

I love that all the repairs are automatic. No more burning an action for no benefit!

Ah, I get what you’re saying now. Yes, there needs to be 3 damage to start the chain to get all 11. With just 2 damage it’ll just be 7 as you said.

If the end of the crit chain is somehow also the end of the damage deck, it can keep going once you reshuffle.

Something else I noticed after reading them all, there don't appear to be any that utterly destroy your squad just by getting them. No "ignore pilot abilities" or "pilot skill 0", nothing that nerfs your build the moment you take it.

Other things to note:

  • Structural Damage (-1 agility) cannot be repaired.
  • 'Receive a stress token' critical now hands you two tokens, meaning at least one missed action unless you have some way around it.
  • Blinded Pilot doesn't stop you making the attack, it just stops you modifying the dice, but it's persistant.
    • Meaning if you managed to line up a shot in the manoeuvre phase, no bad critical luck or Kylo Ren-based shenanigans can stop you getting that shot. It may be less effective, but you do at least get to roll dice...
    • Also, Force users can shoot blind (laser bow optional)

I hope Determination still works the way it used to. I don't even really know anyone who uses it besides me anyway.

Just to be that guy: Structural Damage is "roll one less die" which is different from "-1 agility".

A 0 agility ship defending at range 3 rolls one die while suffering -1 agility, and no die while suffering SD.
