Can this take a crack in a expertise meta?

By Roller of blanks, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Keyan Farlander (39)

elusiveness (2) B-wing/E2 (1) Maul (3) sensor jammer (4)

Poe Dameron (39)

R5-P9 (3) autothrusters (2) intensity (2) primed thrusters (1)

Ezra brider (Sheathapiede) (25)

R3-A2 (2) tactician (2) Veteran Insticts (1)

I've been brainstorming a way to field a hard-hitting B-wing that doesn't get blown up in the first shot, and after much trial-and error through casual games, I'm thinking of bringing this list to a tournament

Some things to know about my local meta:

Assaj,ketsu,quickdraw,bossk,rey and nymiranda are kings

Expertise is widely used

Also 3x gand findsman/zeta specialists with expertise are also common

Very few control builds

Regen is rare

I played a small tournament on Saturday and also played against a list that featured expedise. After the game I was told that my stress dealing via Asajj was really shutting down the expertise.

Question is: will Ezra shoot early enough to matter? Asajj deals stress before anyone shoots. Maybe think about snap shot on Ezra. Hera is also a nice crew for Ezra.

Well, in this list i think it’s more about dealing multiple stress so that other ships can’t get rid of it fast enough.

So you either focus Ezra or he will just get in your way the whole game.

If he has the point more, i would consider snapshot, since PS7 is not that all important on Ezra, except for movement purposes with Farlander who also has PS7. However Snap shot, tactician and R3-A2 pretty much guarantee double stress if anyone gets in your front or rear arc at ranges 1-2.

I am also not a particular fan of intensity/primed thrusters on Poe, but then that’s a personal bias probably.

DUDE! I flew Poe/Ezra/Keyan to top 4 at my local regional a couple months ago, so it can totally be done. I flew it a bit different though:

Ezra (Snap Shot, Gunner, R3-A2) can deal WAY more stress WAY more reliably, shutting down almost anyone.

Poe (VI, Black One, AT, BB-8, Adv. Optics) can strip TLs and is surprisingly balanced offensively and defensively. Not outstanding in either, but VERY solid in each, especially at PS 11.

Keyan (Trick Shot, Collision Detector, E2, Maul) is a BEAST for his points, especially among debris clouds. He hits like a truck, and while sure, he can melt to fire, that means Poe and Ezra aren't getting shot - exactly what we'd want. Elusiveness and Sensor Jammer are just too many points on such a fragile thing, especially with Elusiveness's badness and SJs easy avoidance.
