LOVE the concept. LOVE Emon and Jumpers. As you say, perhaps not maximized, so this is what I'd personally suggest:

With bomblets and cad I still can’t look past the constable....

yes, zuvio is more but the bomb out front and reverse is just fabulous. If you can find the points, he’s so worth it. Pattern analyser too if possible but not sure where you’d squeeze the points for that. Zuvio is 26 with pattern analyser, bomblet and cad bane.....

Nice concept, Emon gives so much headache. I took him to a regional with reveal bombs and action bombs. Several opponents told me they didn't know how to fly because of all the places the bombs could be.

Need more proximity mines!

Clusters are broader, for sure, but you can only force a reroll once for one token or turn. Also, proximity mines give actual crits. I would favor three rerollable dice which can crit over six of which only two are reroll ed and can give no crits.

Also, think about experimental interface. I see anti pursuit lasers rather on ships with reposition actions than on a bombing Firespray.

I fly Emon, Unkar and Jostero a fair bit so not too dissimilar to your list. There's a thread here.

I've flown Emon prior to that as well and generally love bombs! A few random thoughts:

  • The Slave I title and Extra Munitions would get you more bombs for the same points.
  • It's fun to have a mix of mines and bombs.
    • Mines (drop as an action) are great against high PS ships. You move before they do so you know where they're going to be when you drop them.
    • Bombs (drop when you reveal dial) are good against low PS ships. You can see where they moved before you drop the bomb.
  • Prox Mines are go to option with Emon.
  • Cad Bane improves Prox Mines significantly
  • If I've managed to use Prox Mines twice in a game, that's a success, period. I think I've only had one instance where I loaded Emon up and actually managed to use action mines four times in a game.
  • For the firespray to be more dangerous in general, I'm convinced it needs ordnance and I tend to go with concussion missiles / guidance chips to help with dice mods. I don't think they're enough of a threat otherwise
  • Dengar is another excellent crew choice
  • Cloaking and Cikatro Vizago is a scummy option for Quad Jumpers

Thanks for the help. I'll make changes and fly it some more. It's been fun last couple of times watching my opponent wonder where a bomb is gonna drop.
