I still think blaise is a pretty decent figure and he comes with great spy cards and cross training. I would not call his pack a "buy for one card" pack. If you want a buy for one card pack look no further than kayn somos. Rule by fear is great, and his pack comes with nothing that is really good.

Twin Shadows: Nothing

Return to Hoth: Negation and maybe Targeting Computer

Bespin Gambit: Unshakable (get the promo version of that one from eBay)

If you're on a budget, get Comm Disruption instead (ISB Infiltrators). Also comes with a bunch of other spy-cards. Yes, it makes your Command deck slightly worse, but not by much and if you have spies, might make it better.

Or ignore that one. Negation is great and sometimes wins games for you. But sometimes it doesn't really matter, e.g. you don't have Devious Scheme, but your opponent has it. Or both of you don't have it, and your opponent rolls initiative on turn one.

Negation is more than an anti-Take Initiative card tho...

Agreed. But is a single Negation worth buying Return to Hoth?

I thought Kayn came with Squad Swarm or Strength in Numbers.

The former. The latter is from Rebel Troopers pack.
