Hello Albertese,

The terrain is 3d printed from Imperial Terrain, The mat and rocks are from Gamermat eu. ?

That terrain is mickey ******* mouse. Good work!

As I said on IG, I love your table mate!

Any tutorial on how you paint the buildings?

As soon as I get in front of my pc I’ll glad share what steps I used and what paints and primers I used. Textured muds IMO produce better results than the cheap home improvement store stuff. My Iwata eclipse is the backbone of my painting.

Ill be be back for the breakdown.

Here we go...

Before I begin let me just say that I had painted a picture in my head of how everything was going to look before hand.

I purchased the mat and rocks from Gamemat EU. the colors of the mat was going to dictate the rest of the colors for the Rebel troopers and building. I realized most peeps will be going with the traditional bright sandy colors like in the movie. I had the choice to go with a darker tone or buy a bright desert sand mat. So I stayed with the darker tone since I paid some coin to get that mat and terrain from Gamemat EU. The quality of the mat and print is so nice that I started printing and urban imperial city type terrain for my next project instead of endor or hoth.

Preparation.

first step was to primer the buildings in black krylon primer. the cheapest I could find...it wasn't automotive.

I used textured mud for GW sturland mud to apply a thin coat on the open areas so I wont hit the details. I recommend the vallejo brand better. I just used an old brush to painted on. I didn't want to do the peanut butter method and make it look thick. Vallejo pumice should work fine too. Let it dry before you start putting some more primer and coats.

I started my main coat with Vallejo surface primer Israeli as my base color.

The rest are a combination of the three following colors.

Vallejo Surface primer desert sand, Mig Jimenez Modern US Vehicles tan, and Mig Jimenez oil ochre. I used the brightest color and prayed from about to give it a dusty look.

No mixing just layers with the airbrush.

I used the Mig olive drabs for the crates. The details and pipes is all up to you...I mixed my own rusty browns with bronze and dark browns.

I used GW agrax earth shade for the damaged areas and some streaking and details.

but that's pretty much it.

My friend got a nice souvenir from Disney Land. And I just put the airbrush away......I didn't realized how nice they really are.

I`d like to see this Monster in scale to the minis! : D

They stand about 30cm tall I think, which makes them about 12cm too small to be in scale properly.

it is too small.

@Soulfly626 your stuff looks amazing.

as far as the popcorn bucket AtAt, yes it’s too small. But honestly if you play a game without using either the ATST or Snowspeeder I think you can get away with it as terrain.

Great looking figures and scenery.

Ron

they are a little on the small side. As I mentioned before, the troop door is 30mm, but they look good as terrain. Look at my terrain and troop thread for some comparison pictures.

I'm thinking using it as an objective.
