It may not be next week, but I think we're being ridiculous if we think that the game's dead. X-wing, FFG's biggest game, is getting a redo and they definitely want Legion to rival it, and it honestly is probably the only game they've released that could. Ramada is a great game, and they know that. But it doesn't bring in the money that the others have the potential for. I would say as long as Piett is not in Armada, FFG won't be done with the game.

...and we will survive if it is not.

Honestly I was so bummed out by the Hyperfake report and having 0 of my predictions come true, the only joy I get from Armada is actually playing it and trying new lists with friends, but not discussing the future of the game or what we might see or what, imo, would be cool changes/additions.

The fire is quenched. The drive has slowed. The force is weak.

I always wonder if 800 years ago chess was like this. The queen is OP! 6 months without updates, chess is dead! No more that 8 pawns, pawn spam is OP!
