That new flight stand base Boba comes with, FFG probably did not develop that for only one figure, so what are your hopes we will see on those stands comming to the game? For me its Prope droids and Dark Troopers. (I shudder with the thought of flying hellicopter Inquisitors :/)

Most likely some jet troopers (IA style) and probe droids. Not so sure about Dark Troopers, it seems the FFG shies away from Legends material nowadays.

For Rebels though... Ewok gliders perhaps?

I know Dark Troopers was in the Rebel show, but don't know if they have jumppack in the show. I just have fond memories of the old SW Battlefront where you jumped into close combat with a shotgun.

They aren't Dark Troopers. They're Sentry Droids now using the Dark Trooper skin. They were added in the most recent box expansion for Imperial Assualt. I would not be surprised if they eventually make their way into IA.

Rebels can see Mandalorians, toydarian troops maybe? Sabine.

It looks like the same peg that the Speeder bikes use, just glued to a small base instead.

But I would like to see probe droids and jump troops!

There is a molded peg holder in the base also.

Are we sure? The second photo in the article (in the sand with scout troops) looks like it’s glued on. The main photo does look molded (that’s what I thought before I saw the other photo), but it’s farther away and hard to tell.

To me, it looks like there is the little molded plactic rim at the bottom of the peg, on both pictures.

Clearly it's for the Last Jedi version of Leia...

It's difficult to tell if that rim where the clear peg joins the base is a molded part of the base, or if it's just the same peg used elsewhere, with the bottom flange painted.

I thought it was a new base, but on second examination, I suspect it's just the speeder bike peg with paint on it.

No, guys like you are all thinking that this means that we will get flying character. Think of it this way, we can have stable leaping poses for our units now that aren't as top heavy/prone to being knocked over as say some GW models that are attached to the base by ribbons or some other small contact point!

You can always include the Jet Troopers from Rebels. I can't wait for some Inquisitors...

I can see Sabine operative at some point in the future when they get around to the rebel stuff.

I can't unsee Boba clicking his heels, will have to green stuff jet exhausts.

Yeah, it looks exactly like the pegs in the speeder bikes

I wish he was a little higher up, honestly. He's JUST where it feels like the peg is unnecessary. Easy enough to mod, but model height matters, so.... :\

I guess you could mod a higher peg? I would rather he stay close to the ground for cover. He already gets Jump2 so he is good for the peek-a-boo attacks.
