As it is possible that they take out Legion to Boba in the imperial side,
and the v2.0 we remove it from the imperial side.
It's really that I'm getting tired of business policy.

Oh for christs sake.
Legion doesn't have scum faction.

And neither did X-wing after the Great Nerfing, until Brobots came back wit a vengeance.
but would you deny Boba Fett to the Legion players simply because he doesn’t quite fit in with the Imp troops?
yes, yes you should. SW miniatures are meant to be toy space ships, not toy soldiers. My Kenner action figures are still up to some fighting now and then, without being tiny army men.
Let us know when the Rebels get some teddy bears on their side.

The thing is, despite being Star Wars, the game is not an assured success. Part of the way to help it become a success is to incorporate iconic/loved characters, and quickly.
If FFG make the game and it fails, at least they could get the characters out. If it succeeds they have an option to add a new Boba card.
To sum up; get the iconic characters out first, prove the game has longevity, expand on it later.
At the very least, they put Boba in as an operative not a commander, which makes sense of sorts.
We can look at this another way as well. There are only two factions; Light Side and Dark Side. These factions can then span multiple time periods, But Boba is only availiable to the Dark Side during a certain time period - the reign of the Galactic Empire, hence part of that faction.
If that idea goes forward, we theoretically could get a character like Chewbacca that could work under multiple factions, like the rebels and resistance.
Quoted myself from the Legion forum.
As an Imperial Legion player, I welcome Boba Fett, I even encourage full disintegrations.

Focus ALL FIREPOWER on @FTS Gecko I don’t want any of that to get through.
I'm fine with no scum faction in Legion. Really hope it stays that way, and Legion is less about named characters duking it out, and more about different armies fighting a war. We'll see if it stays/goes that way though, or if they'll pull an X-Wing, add in Scum for some silly reason, and limit the game to primarily aces with only a few generics being run.

You're half right.
I'll just ask this here, didn't Thanos kill ALL of the Asgardians? Seems out of character. Maybe because they had no home world now and would overpopulate anywhere they settled.

I believe Valkyrie has taken some of them away.

My timing with regard to FFG announcements has been crazy lately.
The day before Second Edition was announced, I put my collection on sale because X-Wing was dead. I canceled my sale a few minutes into the FFG live stream, and now I'm all set to jump into Second Edition.
I'd been resisting the temptation to pick up Legion until after there was a Scum faction (specifically Boba Fett), but I gave in a couple of days ago after deciding that Imperials might be a fun change of pace. And then Boba landed. Sometimes you get to keep your cake and eat it too.

We quell and suppress any beliefs and views that do not align with our own interests, we subjugate and enslave entire species to feed an ever growing war machine, we atomize productive and thriving worlds to make a political statement.
The Empire is the very embodiment of FUN times.
Legion is in an odd place because there is potential for so many unaligned units in the game, from alien creatures like Wampas, Rancors, rathtars, etc to irregulars like Tusken Raiders, Death gangs, criminal syndicates, local uprisings, etc.
Sure we can continue with the 2 factions being supplemented by special forces like Bounty Hunters and other scum for Imps and smugglers and indigenous aliens for rebels, and that’s probably the model FFG is going for. Scum is such a disparate group that putting them all in the same faction without restriction can be problematic for storytelling, but then FFG only cares about tournament play...
I think these strange images might have warped FFG's minds into thinking that Boba Fett is somehow an operative in the employ of the Empire.
