What do you think? It's mostly a for fun list but would you approach the concept a different way?

I think this is probably sub-"competitive," but it looks like a bloody good time. Equal PS shenanigans are always fun. I'd be tempted to take a Harpoon and Chips instead of the HotCop though, or maybe to spend that remaining point on a Tactical Jammer. Thweek could work but you'd need a bigger bid to get the most value out of him, and he probably wants FCS... again, you might end up sacrificing the HotCop to buy him Virago and FCS with a 2-point bid.

I'm awful tempted to fly something like this this weekend, though, because it just looks cool.

Here's my issue with this: the list seems to rely too heavily on the offensive output of two single-action Starvipers (who probably spend their focus tokens on defense). Hotshot takes away some defensive focus tokens from the enemy, Latts reduces their agility, but you're still relying on red dice with (at most) just focus, and either you have to split fire or only get Latts' agility reduction once. Here's how I'd build it:

Latts (two of Dengar, K4 Security Droid, or Weapons Engineer)

Black Sun Assassin x 2 (Predator, Mk.II, Autothrusters) (30 x 2)

This has a free point, which I'd probably spend on Latts. 4-LOM would be nice, or Burnout SLAM, or whatever. Personally, I'd rather have Dengar than one of K4 or WE. Engineer gives you two reduced-agility procs per turn, but requires an action (so no focus). K4 only gives you one proc and limits your dial, but frees you up to Focus for double-mods. The Black Sun Assassins gain a pretty healthy offensive and defensive boost. Predator could easily be Crack Shot (front-loaded damage is good, since Starvipers aren't that hardy, and it'd free up space to turn the spare point into both K4 and Weapons Engineer), Push the Limit (I love it so much on Starviper Mk.II), or Thweek + Virago + FCS.

I flew against a somewhat similar list once. It was Latts with Dengar, 4-LOM, and either K4 or WE, I don't recall which, with three PS 2 Khiraxz (pre-title). That'd actually be pretty sweet with Latts and the Vaksai title. The Khis would have a bunch of extra goodies, and you could do something like using one of them to fire XX-23 S-Thread Tracers to get more TLs. Getting Focus/TL on the other two Khiraxz and an extra Latts proc on the target would be nice.
