I don't see how you need any clarification on "If you do, you cannot perform another action during your activation".

As I just said, because the devs were kinda suggesting that it could in the stream. Again, they've often been wrong. But I kinda want *THEM* to clean up their own mess.

The developers are wrong about stuff they talk about all the time :P. The only time it needs clarificaiton if they want to say the card is wrong and you CAN do more actions afterward.

The devs are pricing stuff based on what they THINK their rules say. When they are wrong, that is where the big OP/DOA cards are.

Lol.

I think the mistakes in the cast (Vader + advanced sensors, and 2 dice range 1 on the 2400). Were more do to them having alot going on with alot to remember off the top of their heads combined with old iterations of stuff from the design process.

Pretty sure when they cost things they will sit down and think about it combined with playtesying, they are not going to be costing things while doing a live stream unboxing.

They are bound to get all kinds of things wrong in an unboxing video, for all we know Vader worked with advanced sensors for a while until they changed him and then Alex just had a brain fart to the old way he worked.

Designers are human.

And 2e Vader’s ability WOULD be great with 1es advanced sensors.

Developers frequently don’t really know their own games. While they are developing something they are going through dozens, sometimes hundreds of permutations on how a single card or mechanic works, multiplied dozens or hundreds of times. And then once it’s been published, they have moved on to designing the next thing and have no ram to rememorize what they have already done.

Going forward in v2, however, they are going to be costing stuff (or recosting it) in the app based on how it is ACTUALLY performing, based on feedback they get here and in OP results.

BTW I would not put a lot of stock in what we think Gunner Luke says at the moment - that is a pretty rough and janky translation in the images thread. And on everything else we need the points, slots and the rules to know if an issue actually exists.

You legitimately think that any design and development work is done without the exact rules text being checked as part of the process? Here's a quick tip: you are 100% wrong.

Ever done any proofreading? Never rely on proofreading your own work, because you'll miss stuff glaringly obvious to anyone else, because you know what you meant to say and gloss over what you actually say.

Currently we don't know the 2.0 definition of Activation. Who knows if the Advanced Sensors timing window of before you reveal your dial is part of a ships activation. I can see the confusion because there is still a lot we don't know about how 2.0 works. I believe the way it is written you can only do one action but I am not absolutely sure about that.

Missed the stream but I am much less excited after the unboxing images I saw.

TIE aggressors need a rear 180degree arc. Very disappointed they didn't get anything new. Amazing look with zero reason to use it now. How did they not get a special ability.

No info on Vessery.

There was a text typo on at least one of the cards. An "at" instead of an "an" if I remember correctly.

I thought I heard a-wings get a rear arc but didn't see it in the pic.

Corran better cost 100+ points naked.

I'll still hope for the best, but less optimistic than I was.

I'm assuming (and hoping) defenders get a big cost increase. Maybe 67 points for the cheapest ship so you can't run 3 of them.

I mean in 1.0 x7 defenders are still one of the best ships in the game. Now they get an extra hit point, better dial, and better action bar.

Sweet, was looking at the image dump and they did word Han the way I wanted them to. It’s a do over not a free target lock. So yeah Luke crew is the only stupid thing I have issues with to the point it just doesn’t need to exist.

Interestingly, Han says “When you roll dice,” so he’s good at dodging bombs and rocks and... are there any die rolls in crits any more?

Console Fire is the only one that has any dice at all, I think.

E: it's interesting to note that it also applies to the rock rolls themselves, and bomb rolls.

This is so true, just ask Caption Rex.

Yeah, but Luke crew is prohibitively expensive NOW, so I can't imagine that isn't going to stay the same. Plus, you take him and you preclude the ability to double tap with the Falcon. Sure, he's great on a Y-Wing, but it's not like those things don't need the buff so I'm okay with it.

The guy I really like is Bossk. Him sitting behind 4-Lom screaming and shouting and working like the old gunner card is going to be hilarious.

My main interest was the Defender.

So happy! It's going to be pricey but it should be!

An extra shield!

Built in X7!

Focus, Evade, Lock, Roll, Boost!!!!

Also it was heaviliy implied that the only crew carriers for the Empire are the Reaper, Lambda and Decimator, and that the latter both have two crew slots now. So assuming reaper only has one and Deci has lost a slot.

So the Phantom loses it's crew slot as well. Good lord, just bury the thing all ready, it's was ALREADY dead. Even if they reduce that things prices down to Striker and Interceptor tier it still wouldn't be enough because those ships are better than the Phantom as well.

Gand Findsman are all force sensitive, including Zuckuss. [edit] in the books. I wish they had done something with this in the game.

Not onthe card we saw yesterday.

Yah that one made me sad.

Do we know yet which Imperial pilots are droids? They said there was some reason for there to be Calculates in every conversion kit I think.

Lol

It has both a better statline and repositioning, don't be silly

Besides, it's still a two-seater. Means it's getting a gunner

There was an A-Wing pilot who could shoot at range 0, i.e. when bumped. Do you get a dice bonus for shooting at range 0?
