Defender was shown and they decided to keep the X-7 version, its now baked into the Defender as opposed to added on through a title.

If the falcon can only take 1 gunner too it brings up the decision of it they go with the Veteran Gunner to double tap out of one arc, Luke to always have something in arc, or Han to double tap but only once out of each arc.

I am most concerned about the Falcon, the Outrider having 4 dice, and the Luke gunner card. It doesn't seem likely that we will return to true fat ships though, and with missiles and torpedoes being fully functional from the outset there will probably be plenty of ways to blast them out of the sky if you really need to counter them directly. My main concern is just for the fate of the TIE interceptor and other similar ships against fully decked out gunships.

At least we've got adjustable point costs and upgrade slots

No the MF title isn't as good, as Evades don't do the same as they used to (change result, so on a Falcon with 1 green you can still only dodge 1 hit)

And it now lets you reroll a green if you are EVADING. Which means to get a reroll on your 1 or 2 green dic,e you need to have spent your action taking the evade.

AND Han can only reroll when at range 0-1 of an obstacle.


So no, I don't see Fat Han as we knew him making a comeback or dominating the meta. Especially with the basic principle that his turret can be dodged.

They stated "Evading" means you have an evade token the moment they revealed the title.

MF title now gives it better defense against multitude of attacks, rather than evading 1 attack better. It can never have more than 1 evade result unless obstructed/R3, since evades dont add results now

I think that is what they said in the stream. If it means using your evade token I don't think it would be all that useful aside from maybe at range 3 or using obstacles for cover, though if that is the case it would be playing up maneuvering I guess.

But they didn't actually show us every card or how many of each upgrade comes in the box? Does FFG not understand how an "unboxing" actually works?

Or you could fly off the left or right edge and put him back on at the far side of the table behind your opponents ships if they started across from you.

yeah, the 2nde falcons will be much easier to chew through.

There was no way they were ever going to show us every single card. The stream took two hours as it was.

But you can fly him off the left side, in the depoloyment zone, and put him back in the enemy deployment zone next turn.

Means if you use an Evade token. So you are hit with 2 damage, roll blanks, Use Evade to make 1 a Evade and then get to reroll the other die.

What you can do with Eval is fly off the board turn1, then turn2 come back on the far edge of that side you flew off of.

Basically, turn2 Eval is behind the enemy if they didnt set up on the opposite side Eval was set up.

There are like 150+ upgrades in EACH conversion box, plus pilots and things with new rules. They'd be here till tomorrow going through everything.

If you really wanted everything we would literally be there for days. There are something like 700 cards.

If turreted ships are a legitimate power-house concern after all of the nerfs (mobile arcs, Ghost got its attacks completely shut down to a weak rear-arc TIE Fighter-level shot and lost two Shields to gain the reinforce token that the Decimator got for free stapled on, Outrider gets none of the range one bonuses but all of the range 4 penalties for shooting) then they can just up their point cost to an even 200 points and that's your whole list. But I don't see them being even remotely as strong in this new version.

Has to be the other way around - reroll first, then spend. But yeah. If you get to two dice, you might be able to get two evades.

But there's no more 'roll two dice, and add one from 3PO and one from the evade token, evade an entire missile'.

Yes, sorry that's what I was trying to ask. Flying him off my left edge then putting him behind your ships on your right edge seems pretty cool. Assuming you'll get to angle him however you want. I suppose it adds some more strategy for your opponent when they see you lined up anywhere near the board edge

Exactly. Turrets can now actually be flown AROUND. Yes possible for the Turret flyer to predict where you are, also possible he guesses wrong and is **** out of luck.
