So I've heard about the Firespray, ARC, K-wing, and Punisher becoming medium, but is that everything? I've always felt like the IG was a much smaller ship than some of the other larges like the Firespray, particularly since its just a single droid in there. Is there any chance these'll become medium too?
IG-88 still Large?
IGG-88 is medium base. As well as Scurrg.
Yay, thank you! Not sure how that'll play exactly, but makes a lot more sense to me. It's weird they don't list it in their article though, just saying " G1-A Starfighter, M12-L Kimogila Fighter, and Scurrg H-6 Bomber" are now medium.
Edited by PenguinBonaparteU-Wing too.
I took my IG-88 ships out of my "hangar" inspired by Dellapina and had awesome casual game with almost same list. Had four Interceptors and one TIE Bomber agains me, lost my first IG at turn 4 or 5 and my opponent had his whole list mostly intact, few damage here and there and I was actually able to clean the table with only IG-B!!! It was my second time I used tractor beam, worked fine and was the game changer.
Anyway, my point being I was annoyed by the large base, it gives them huge arc what is awesome, makes them faster too, but I was so stuck because my opponent was able to block me so easily, only my Advanced Sensors saved me from them most of the time if I wasnt stressed.
Soooo, Im glad to have it on medium base! ?
I think the medium base is one of my favorite things about 2.0
And all the ships I thought should be medium are being made so.
Some ships are going to provide an incredibly different play-experience on that basis alone.

Yeah, it's worth noting that they don't mention that the Firespray is switching to a large base ship there either. I believe it was mentioned during the World's Final live stream that the IG-2000 would be a medium base ship in 2nd Edition
i think all of the ships that were larger than the Small base but felt odd on the large base are now mediums
Silencer is the exception since it was overscaled to begin with.

I was thinking that - although it is physically much smaller than say the YV-666 - I enjoyed how much faster and more maneuverable it was on a large base. However, now that you mention it: yes, I was boxed in a few times because of how huge that base was. Hmm. Nostalgia...haze...lifting.
Simeon won’t be able to do his standard opening anymore though...
Has anybody heard if the Rebels, and their conversion kit, will retain Nym and his Scurrg H-6 Bomber (now a medium sized base) named Havoc?

They are not. Scurrg is going to be Scum only.

Edited by impspyIG's S-loops on that large base were a little insane. It'll be fun to try him on the medium base.
