I am going to be playing Galactic Empire out the gates, but I am excited to see the First Order 2.0 conversion kit. I have a suspicion that they are going to be adding new pilots to the TIE/sf and maybe the Silencer to fill out some play space until the Resistance cartoon gets going and Ep. 9 comes out and they have more ships to make. I suspect as well we may see some new pilots for Resistance in their box, but the FO interests me most.

No way of knowing without previews. Gonna be either rebels or imps unless scum really blows me away

So it depends on which ends up being better previewed:

Finally viable Xs (especially Luke)

The now very interesting Y-wings

The almighty goddess of the ARC

VERSUS

Redone x7s

Ordnance plopping boats/bombers

The decimator change that may finally do justice to the dang model

And my man, Deathrain

I will bow to The First Order! QD is my bae, Silencers are ludicrously fun, Tie FOs are simply superior to Tie LNs, and I've been itching to fly the Upsilon. Plus I can't wait to see what they add to the faction (cough bombers cough). Only problem is, I have to wait till wave 2.

I'm excited for all. Kid is looking forward to scum. I'm already testing a replacement for quick draw in my current list. Not sure how much of the group is waiting on it to drop or me to bite the bullet first. I'll be starting fresh with rebels but luke wedge and Han could be real fun.

Looking forward to putting all the cards in pages instead of sleeves like I did with 1.0

While I’m excited for all the options, I’m probably most excited about Rebels. Getting A-Wings, B-Wings, and E-Wings back in order is gonna be great and I’m still holding out hope the HWK gets a more proper dial.

I’m also very interested in the described theme for the Resistance. Some heavy ace stuff sounds like something in my wheelhouse.

I'm for the Empire, all the way!

I thoroughly enjoy the geometry of the ships, the way they fly, and that the various ships are usually designed for a specific purpose or role.

I am going to have tons of fun revisiting both OT factions, so those are the two top contenders for me. But if I had to pick one, it'd be Rebellion. Ever since I first saw them on screen, and then even more so when the X-Wing PC game came out, I've always had a soft spot for A-Wings. So naturally, when I first got into this game, I bought a bunch of them, only to realize they just weren't very good. I can still make Psycho Tycho annoying, but he can't really do much actual damage to anything. And he's the only one that's anywhere close to good, really.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what they can do in this edition. Along with T-65s and U-Wings, and all the rest too.
