Does anyone know what is going to happen for future waves? As I understand it the conversion kits come with everything for the wave 1 and a conversion for all of your ships (I'm assuming bases, cards ect) but when waves 2 and up come out there will likely be new cards that come with the ships in the waves. These cards won't be in the conversion kits as I understand this. Has FFG said anything about how we might be able to get our hands on these future cards without having to rebuy models? I heard something about future card packs on Mynock Podcast but it was sort-of said amidst a lot of information so I wasn't entirely sure I heard it right.

Details are sparse but FFG has said there will be a way for players to get the cards of a wave without rebuying models.

FFG hasn’t provided those details yet just assures us we won’t have to rebuy ships we converted for the cards.

Nothing confirmed, of course, but I suspect we will see mini wave-conversion packs for each faction that contain the pilot cards, upgrade cards, ship tokens, and any other needed cardboard to cover everything that isn’t included in the regular conversion packs. I don’t see any other way they can handle it without going back on their word.
