I was curious so I went back through this years articles to date. Not sure this says a lot but I thought people might like to see it.

My first take away from this is that we get an article "about" every 14 days, so every 2 weeks or so.

There have been 9 articles this year

almost a quarter of them are just named ships.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

In a Vacuum, an article every two weeks seems pretty good. But people like to compare Armada to FFGs other games.

Launch or New Fleet are hardly articles I‘d count.

Having said that, apart from the debacle at Worlds, I am not waiting for the next article. This desire was killed long ago, so...whenever.

Only exception is the SSD. This I really want to have some clarity.

So, the issue there that I noticed is that half of those articles are front loaded which kind of throws the numbers off. We got 4 articles in january and that inflated our numbers a bit.

Part of me worries that the release of the SSD will kill the game. Based on their handling of epic I'm just not optimistic about it being done well and I am starting to get a worrying feeling that armada is only hanging out by a thread after seeing them clip that thread for the card game I'm concerned the poor sales of the SSD, because people are familiar with epic, they will use it as an excuse to phase armada out.

They really cant blame me for wanting one, though. If it will never come, just let me know now and lets move on.

It's not a bug, it's a FFG Feature.

1 article every 14 days? There hasn't been a single one since january.

sigh, 3 months out. This is the longest drought between announcements right? I was looking at the chart but I'm not 100% with it only being listed quarterly.
