Boba Fett may change the value of swarms of corps units.

He can get anywhere and saves 2/3 of hits.

His own attacks ignore cover.

He can shoot 2 targets per turn at range 2.

It's the mobility which is a killer. He's obviously good for hunting down characters, but he's also going to be loading suppression on multiple troop units which is crippling if he achieves his mission. With a swarm army, if you lose your commander you're very vulnerable to panic and that's without someone using Vader's Master of Evil.

However, it is blaster fire from Corp units that is likely to put him down, he has the same wounds as a unit of stormtroopers for more than double the cost, and rolling the same amount of dice than 2 troopers shooting per attack albeit black , so against cover and dodge enables units it's just not worth it (unless you want to waste a command card to use the flame on one unit) Each of those attacks are only killing at best 2 troopers , let's say he has priority and kills 1 per unit, then he is getting hit back with 8 dice minimum and 12 or 18 with 1 or 2 Z6 troopers . He won't save enough against 6 black and 6/12 white dice on the return fire to survive.

i don't think he is designed as a Corp killer, in fact he seems to fill a similar niche as the airspeeder, except with less ability against armour and a lot more flexibility at the cost of not being armor himself or being anywhere near as mobile. People are saying the airspeeder isn't worth the points. I disagree but throwing Boba against a swarm of rebel troopers is a bad idea IMO.

True, he's not going to kill much, but he can keep up with speeder bikes on a flank to make sure that anyone with courage not in command is going to be panicked. But you're right, he probably isn't all that much of a game changer in this regard unless he gets last-first activation which isn't very likely against a horde.

Although I don’t play rebels the idea is the same with empire the more activations the better I’m using

veers with gear

6x stormtroopers with dlt-19 with impact grenades

3x speeder bike squadrons

so there’s ten squads.

Only reason atrt are so good is they have armour which they shouldn’t. IMO armour should have a value next to it but that’s a discussion for another thread.

Lol Armor is the only thing that keeps AT-RTs from being hot garbage.

Very true. The AT-RT only gets a white defense dice, no surge. It can do a lot of damage but the armor is the only thing that keeps in on the field.
