Do we know exactly how talon rolls work in 2.0?

We know they are adjustable from watching the Team Covenant playthrough.

Do they have only three ending positions like the new barrel roll?

How do they function with medium based ships like the new firespray?

It's not clear to me yet. To the best of my knowledge they have full 1e-style slop right forward or right back, including for the medium base, but it's not 100% clear.

They function the same for all base sizes: You start with the template in your front guides like usual, and then you place your ship like the new barrel-roll at the end so its alligned on the side at either the front, back, or middle.

I'd assume that was the case, too, but was that confirmed either via stream of some other method?

It was in one of the streams that came out following the announcement, but I don’t remember which one they 100% confirmed it. In others they were saying you needed the lined-templates for talon rolls, which also leads to believe that they have 3 distinct endpoints like barrel-rolls.

It will be three distinct positions, and at all three points the line on the ship is used, either you go line to line, line to front of template, or line to back of template. But I do not think large/medium ships will get T-Rolls anyway.

Doesn't the spoiled medium sized firespray dial include a 3 T-Roll? So we know it can be on medium bases at least. I would hope large based ships are more limited in there maneuvers.
