and I have one hwk but it's listed under scum and rebel and I answered 1 for both. guess when that re releases, i'll buy a second to have one for each faction.

The hwk is listed under both factions on purpose. If you have 1 hwk model, you can fly it for either faction you buy a conversion kit for. I have 2 hwks, put 2 for each faction since I can use them for either.
That was a bit of data entry for sure. ?

The "intend to buy" was just for how many conversion kits you actually intend to buy, not how many would cover your collection or what part of your collection would be covered. The rest of the survey I could have perhaps asked how many of each ship you "would like" to convert versus "intend", but I specifically didn't want to ask how many people own if they have 20 tie fighters but only care about converting 8 of them to 2.0. If you have 20 tie fighters and do want to convert all 20 to 2.0, then great, people are free to put the number in there. Personally, for instance, I have 14 tie fighters and another 12+ tie/fo fighters because I got a bunch of each for free with no dials that I use for HotAC. But I have no intention nor desire to convert more than 8 Fighters and the max number of FOs for a 200 point list. The rest don't matter to how effective conversion kits are.
Ok so I guess what's the point with the survey then? Why not just ask how many boxes people intend to buy? Why all the extra detail? Are you trying to learn what pieces people will actually use from the conversion kits and what they won't use? I guess I'm confused what you are trying to learn from the survey?

To be able to see how well (or poorly) the ships people want to convert match what comes in the conversion kit.
Sooo from my (brief) analysis, FFG was pretty close outside of tie fighters maybe?
