heck running a support ship is probably the best thing for imps, rebels, and a good chunk of scum. Scum doesnt seem to have a direct support outside of the hwk or depending on how you view it the quadjumper, but alot of their pilot abilities are just mean.

I suspect 2.0 to be "Hunt the support!" meta. There is so much crap a support ship is capable of offering now that gunning straight for it is probably the best move.
