Imperial calculate token

By Commander Kaine, in X-Wing

There was a calculate token on one of the spreads. What do you think it could be?

I think it might be a Droid crew (kx series) which adds the token, or maybe a system upgrade.

There were no imperial pilots who could have it, right?

Droid crew most likely, though in Star Wars Rebels there was at least one instance of an Imperial droid pilot that I remember.

I would put my guess on droid crew. They wouldn't put a droid in a fighter and there are better options for shuttle/deci.

It could be a single droid pilot on a ship not normally piloted by droids. I can't think of any particular droids that would make sense but there's potential there, I'm sure. Maybe triple 0 or BT-1 could pilot something? K-series droid in a striker or reaper, perhaps?

Vader. "He's more machine than man, now."

This opens the door for Proxy. It's a distinct possibility.

weren't there evil astromechs? I know there was BB-evil in the last jedi, but I'm sure empire had evil-d2s

or it's that little droid what followed Iden around

Probably a crew option. You'd have to be pretty desperate to field a droid pilot.

I guess there were. But I think you mean Imperial.

Evil is a bit extreme I think :)

TIE droid confirmed?

I believe you are thinking of AP-5. He was an Imperial navigation droid before he was reprogrammed and joined the Ghost crew.

Imperial faction gets K-2SO crew before he was reprogrammed. It's only fair since Rebels get our Tie fighter

How? We know that we are not getting ships in the conversion kits, and TIE Droids or Rogue Shadow were not present in 1.0

M-OC and the Tracker I

Pure, unadulterated wishful thinking.

I was just posting for fun, but if you want to get all technical, consider that the conversion kits are also partly future proofing as well. So you’ll end up with an excess of tokens(again). Some of these will be calculate tokens that you may need in a future imperial expansion. (Like the tie droid). So kind of like with the TIE phantom where you may have two models, but only one full expansion, so you would need another cloak token.

More likely it’s for an “imperial C-3PO” style upgrade card, but who really knows?

Mouse droid crew card confirmed (suck it Gonk)!

?

BT and 000 crew.

A droid crew needing a calculate token doesn't make much sense, though. Calculate is strictly worse than focus, so why would you want to waste a crew slot on getting it? Maybe if it's a free token?

Execute a green blue maneuver, gain one calculate token.

Because you can potentially stack them. And use whatever you need more on the attack role and you’ll still have something for defense.
