I love cards. Why the 2.0 costs are worth it to me.

In Games that don’t include cards and tokens I have to create my own at great expense. Witch are all forfit in an edition change.

I vastly prefer cards to books when it comes to information design and list building.

Printable lists with all game play information from a list creator are nice for a hard core hobby game. But that is a different experience from buying a ship and putting the cards together in new fun ways.

Looking across the table and seeing artwork for my opponents list. The tokens and cards that track the game state. It’s super deluxe.

there are reasons why x-wing is one of the best selling minitures games and I would argue accessibility of the rules and readability of the game state are important parts.

Im done responding to and there by bumping threads with ouragious and false titles.

that said I do think the game suffers greatly from token bloat and while they cleaned up target locks they really should have used genric base inserts for each ship type.
