Also any campaign box should theoretically be playable with 1.0, you’ll just lose out on the new pilots. Objectives, deployment, win conditions, points, etc. can all be adjusted.
In all the news lately, did I miss some mention of planned campaign boxes? Or is this just wishful thinking?

This is the dream! I'm actually hopeful this might happen since the new 2.0 ship tokens come with enough arcs to create a system similar to HotAC. I like the idea of emblematic battles like Scarif, Yavin, Endor, but if stepping in that territory is complicated for continuity they could just use known periods like the mid-rim conquest/retreat that will give them more freedom for scenarios.
