Didn't FFG say that they are going to sell individual ship conversion kits? If so, that's how I'll convert the ships that the base faction conversion kits don't cover. Besides, reproducing FFG products without their permission is copyright infringement. I just hope FFG prints enough conversion kits so retailers don't sell out in a week or two.
Convert your entire collection with 3 or less conversion kits.

So here is an idea... photocopy your stuff. Glue it down.. play casual, and if and only if you go to a tournament, then you can cash up.
That’s what I said, except I proposed a solution that didn’t require you to “cash up”

ship bases - the stats aren't even on them anyway. If you can ignore the name (which is easy if you have a X, Y, B, A list for example), you only need 4 small ship rebel bases of any ship .
Then use a printout/tablet/phone for the cards.
Done.
Glue sticks are for toddlers. Get some 3M spray adhesive and go to town. It's how all the pros roll.
Ha - when I suggested FFG could've put out a free pdf as the means of converting to 2.0 this weekend, it gets no end of negative comments.
This thread has nothing but praise for what appears to be copyright infringement.
Why??
Well this thread is clearly completely different because... um.... reasons. ?

I didn't say anything because, last time I checked, legit places like FedEx/Kinkos won't photocopy trademarked or copyrighted material. This "plan" is unlikely to pan out.

They are very different approaches to having the same thing - I.e. Home printed cards, tokens. I'd hoped FFG would've made it available to 1.0 players (proof of purchase tokens anyone?) whilst the OP suggests doing it yourself.
Just has me puzzled at how different the comment responses are; was it because my approach critics FFGs approach?
