I am assuming that if we get Clone War factions (likely Republic vs CIS), how would you react to there being included in some of the ship packs pilots that are for Rebel and Imperial factions? Kinda like how the Scum bomber has one Rebel pilot in it.

There is canon precedent, in Tarkin, Vader was still flying his (painted black) Jedi starfighter from then end of the Clone Wars. And there is the post Endor set comic that has Leia and Poe’s mom visiting Naboo, and having to jump in some old Naboo starfighters.

Just some thoughts. I know some weren’t happy to have that one Rebel pilot in the Scum pack. But it could be some fun flavor, and I like the possibility of a ship piloted by Liea.

Certainly possible. The Y-Wing and the ARC would need to be “patched back” anyway. Plus, we have fans of ships like the N-1 who would probably enjoy multiple ways to play it.

I honestly am not going to be buying any new factions beyond what I already have - and depending on release schedule I may even end up not supporting some of the 5 (3 in 1.0).

I sincerely hope I don’t need to buy a ship from a theoretical new faction in order to obtain one or two pilots/ship I want for mine.

I definitely want Clone Wars factions to get the full range of ships. That said, I would love to get the N-1 for the Rebels faction just to get Leia as a pilot.

A Clone Wars era Y-Wing could be fun to get us a sculp of the ones with the full paneling in place. And maybe an astromech droid designated C1-10P...

The N-1 has been seen in comics in the GCW era, so I'm for it either way.

The Z95 would also need to be patched back, as we have the Clone Z95s in canon.

And any chance for the Eta-2 Actis sounds like fun to me (even if it flies just about like a Fang or Interceptor).

No the arc is bad enough, no more prequel crap.

Assuming the Clone Wars factions get them first, I'm fine with an Aces pack or repaint giving the FCW factions access to the older ships.

Folks are speculating, with the addition of the FO and Reistance factions, Republic and CIS are coming soon. But still speculation.

Add N-1 to Rebels, and some Separatist ship to Scum, for example the Rogue-class starfighter with Cad Bane & Co and then make the next wave The Clone Wars wave, with Most Wanted style boxes for Republic and CIS.

I’m not opposed to the idea, but not exactly enthusiastic either.

Much more interested in the reverse and getting extant ships into CW factions where it makes sense.

Interesting thought. Obviously the Y-Wing and the Arc would need to be migrated back, as others have said. But they have promised that you won’t need to buy anything from a faction you don’t play just to get cards in 2nd. So does that mean separate Republic and Rebellion expansion packs for the same ship (assuming the 2 CW factions do come)? If so, does that mean they can’t put any new, non republic upgrades in those packs because rebel players won’t have access to those cards?

Agreed!

I want Leia as a pilot in the game, regardless of ship. I also want the N-1 in the game, regardless of faction.

Sounds like a pretty solid setup for the Grand Army of the Republic. And that's just a quick list, I properly forgot something ... like the Naboo ships.

Maybe the Arc ported over for early empire stuff, but that’s about it.

I’d rather see republic and CIS stuff fleshed out as their own thing than tie them back into GCW. (Like we were doing in 1.0).

Prequel content will get me into this. Love how Destiny has had stuff from all eras

Well, it would also allow for content from The Clone Wars, which are better regarded than the movies they sprung from.

Besides, if we get the Eta-class mentioned above, we might get one with Darth Sidious at the helm.

Not gonna argue with that, even when I not sharing that opinion. But regardless of the movie quality, the animated series is a high light in star wars canon. And a love letter and excuse from GL to the star wars fans for his past mistakes in the movies. (GL burned a lot of his cash on that)
