The best part about 2.0 is the emphasis on the Bullseye arc

Yes

Yes, kahlisse, it is known.

It's weird that they didn't make Wedges ability bullseye only considering how strong it is.

Weird, or predictable?

Rebel bias. It's there.

Nah. People were wanting the X-Wing (and especially it's top pilots) to be and remain strong. So Wedge gets a powerful ability.

Of course, if he wants to stack Marksmanship, Crackshot, Predator etc with it, then he's still going to need to use that Bullseye arc!

?? I am going to miss bullseye on Torani, who has become my favorite SCUM ship...sad days.

I kind if think Movie Rebels are going to be the "intro level" ships, so I get the decision. The Falcon has a mobile arc and Boost, some intrinsic re-rolls with Han, and a way to rotate the arc action free with gunner Luke. People williterally be able to run around the board 1.0 style with very limited consequences.

Now, I don't necessarily think this is a bad thing, we don't know points, and if the poijt s are right, this can still be fine, and a good way to ease players into the game, or just play movie-theme lists amongst casuals and have the Falcon feel appropriate.

Intro level mechanics are always problematic. See Biggs.

Yeah, but it all comes down to pricing. If Biggs had been 35 points, he never would have been a problem.

Exactly right

I have seen people complain that the Xwing is improved, but the Tie Fighters isn't. We don't know pricing yet. Could easily be that Tie Fighter swarm with good amount of buffing elites comes to same price as these better X-wings. Hard to complain when we don't know.

We know the academy is the same price and we know the black is within one point of its old price.

Yes, and something people aren't fully considering is that linked Focus->Barrel Roll action that lots of Imperial ships get (though sadly not TIE/lns it seems). That ability to reposition and still get a Focus is pretty huge.

Yes, but do we know the price of Rebel stuff?

Also, is that the same as it was in 200 it's? So, Academy is 12? Or is it 24?

We have mock ups of the app putting Luke at 60 points naked. We have gameplay footage of Luke, wedge, and a gold squad vet filling out a list.

We also have to consider that the developers are on the record saying that Imperial theme is groups of ships operating together. Much of their efficiency is probably derived from group effects like Howlrunner. Considering the limited implementation of action-free dice mods we've seen, even a Howlrunner Miniswarm looks to have some very high offense, especially since she seems to buff herself as well. If there are similar formation flying bonuses, TIE Fighters might still be very good against X-wings when flying in their particular idiom.

Its 24 base

TIEs also have two mod slots, so we will have to see if we get any good TIE only mods.

Really we’re was that shown? I’ve missed that little nugget

Best part of 2.0 is moving pieces! Flappy S-foils, rotating Protectorates... What's next? Starvipers with swing wings? Turrets that spin on the 2400? Interceptors that literally fly apart when they get bumped wrong? The possibilities are so exciting!

That's. The. Point

Did we all forgot waves 1-3? The original xwing CANNOT compete with the TIE

Now they're on the same level

These claims of rebel bias are just so off base it's honestly staggering. For all this time, imperials have complained about turrets, bombs, and Regen

Regen? Hard nerfed.

Bombs? All bombs drop before activation. ACTION bombs are dead.

Turrets? DEAD

But no! The Xwing has ONE. MORE. HULL! Imps are getting the shaft!!!!!!!!

Or these complaints are all sarcasm and I suck

The buffs to TIE swarm I’ve seen so far include Howlie buffing herself (as you point out) and Iden Versio’s Biggs-ish ability:

Before a friendly TIE/ln fighter at range 0-1 would suffer 1 or more damage, you may spend 1 charge. If you do, prevent that damage.

This card I’ve found often gets misread, so I’ll emphasize that it can cancel ALL of the damage, and that it is CANCELLED... Versio doesn’t have to take the damage.

Another indirect buff is that Reinforce only decreases damage to a minimum of one. So the plink-plink effect of a TIE Swarm cannot get negated by a Reinforce action.

Oh right can't forget reinforce

Not only does the entire swipe it, but it also no longer utterly invalidates tie fighters

Also heard that reinforce only works if the attacker is completely within the line (bases split in half, attacker can't across the line on the reinforced side for reinforce to apply) but that was on stream
