I doubt FFG would do this, but if they did end up releasing themed squadron packs for the X-Wing would anyone be willing to buy them? We sort of have a Red Squadron release with the current Wave 1 X-Wing 2.0 pack that comes with Red Leader, Red 2, and Red 3, and then the thrown in Corona 4. So following that scheme with differently painted X-Wings:

I know right off this is likely too many X-Wing pilots but was a sort of shower thought thing. For the groupings I tried to pick three from each squadron and throw in one Corona Squadron pilot based off the Wave 1 Expansion pack with the exception of the Phoenix one since they would likely try to mostly market that one as a Rebels expansion.

I would buy these. e.g. a Scarif Package with Blue and Green Squadron X-Wings + aces would be really welcome.

You got the fighter packs in? I'll take a T70x3, TIE/FOx5 and a Starviperx3 please.

Oh and toss a couple of those Imperial Ordnance in too.

I'm not opposed to doing Squadron packs, though I'm not sure how they'd make them distinct enough to warrant a new expansion. Anything that gets me the Rogues is a good thing, though.

A theme expansion would be cool. I like the idea of an "adversary series." The blister would come with two models. Like an A-wing and tie Interceptor. Would stink for those who only buy one faction though.

They'd likely have to sell on the merit of their alternate paint job, new pilots, and upgrade cards mostly astromechs.

Oh that would be real cool or even just playing off specific squadron sorts of things like Rogue Squadron vs 181st or Red Squadron vs Black Squadron. With each pack focusing on the pilots from that specific battle or squadron. But yea, the main downside of that would be if they wanted to have it where you have to buy two factions in a single pack since aside from the Core Set I don't think they've released anything like that outside of the Imperial Assault box expansions (out of necessity considering the game) and the Rogues and Villains pack for Armada.

I wouI would certainly buy Squadron packs. I enjoyed X Wing with fighters the most (playing with the minis from a friend), so it is a no-brainer for me.

Clone wars theme! Either the actual one with Grievous in Starfighter and Vultures against Anakin/Obi-Wan Jedi starfighters or V-wings against a Sheathapede shuttle with General Kalani and Battle Droid pilots.

Out of those listed I would pick up a Rebels theme pack with B/A/Y wings as long as Hera and maybe some of the other Spectors got a ship

Air to Ground warfare. Straffing. AA emplacements and disposable one use Ion "Sam". Armoured targets. AT ATs and AT STs...
