at the moment the only empire units we have are storm troopers and snow troopers, so here's my attempt to create some diversity by leaving no model unconverted, and some new sculpts also,
in the thrawn novel the empire are using clones in there early days and in the outer rim storm troopers hadn’t been rolled out, so because we’re not getting prequel factions any time soon, i wanted some clone units to double as storm troopers, i intended for them to be all white but i got carried away, the clones are based on the 501st mostly, commander appo from post order66, i then tried some more neutral colours with the 41st's grey scheme, and also a cody who in legends went on to teach new recruits, so in my head canon can still be serving, I’m not sure whether ill do any 212th clones just yet, there to bright colours which doesn’t suit empire as much as it does republic,
I’ve got some tank troopers in the works, i just need to buy another box for the arms, the next things I’m working on are mud troopers and evo troopers, which will be my snow trooper equivalents
the sand troopers have black pauldrons sculpted with greenstuff, and German magazines on the shoulders, the magma troopers are from BF1(EA) from sullest, they have the breathing mask connected to the packs, the packs are a mix of German and American 28mm packs,
the clone troopers are completely from scratch, i did 1 master and reposed the duplicates to get the poses, i made up 14 without heads and painted them before the heads were finished, so they need doing, i intend to sculpt a set of different poses so i can make duplicates much faster and with less work needed to repose them to make them unique
