What 2.0 ship are you most excited about?

So, "Spend a force token to treat the target of your attack as being in range 1." Something like that?

Luke's power is actually 100% the same thing, but they have based it on the new force resource. I guess the others would be the same way.

probably

but Luke can now also spend his force on offense, free of charge (since his ability regains him a force token when defending, before dice are rolled)

Yeah, true. I just meant that the old ability (turn a green focus result to evade) is still the same because you will always have 1 force token when you have become the target of an attack (using his 2.0 ability). In other words: You will always be able to turn at least 1 green focus result to an evade. Same thing but now you have that extra force token to do with as you please.

man, so hard to pick just one ship, they all look fun and since so much got revamped they will all have a different "new" feel. I guess I'd say ties. Lots of ties. all kinds of ties. I find them super fun. and it will be great if they don't suck as much as they do now. can't wait!

yeah, the wait is difficult because it's all so exciting

...except for the green dice dependent ships. ain't no version change making those any better for me ?

I did say that the Star Wars Commander TIE Defender was stylised-looking, didn't look much like the Rebels TIE Defender, and therefore, that Star Wars Commander images should be regarded with caution.

I was trying to communicate to KaLeu, who was complaining about the FFG Decimator, why it looks different - because FFG were using a different source - a Legends source.

As to how I'd guessed that KaLeu had gotten the image from a Star Wars Commander-related source - it was because the "canon page" on Wookieepedia for the Decimator, shows that very same image - and cites Star Wars Commander as the source for all their information.

Well FFG sure as **** didn't make the Decimator into a firebomber did it!? Source or no, how it looks in Star Wars Galaxies is how it looks.!

Speaking of the Decimator, giving it a red Coordinate makes it feel way more like a support ship which'll hopefully make a non-RAC build viable in more situations.

Hmmm...also curious about the K

The OG wingspan

Since we lost the movie bomber, rebels need something else to launch bombs with (deathfire's new ability confirms "launch" exists)

And since the K lost its adv. Slam gimmicks...well it'd be perfect!

Just gotta make sure Miranda doesn't come back, even with Poons and tlt gone.

Be nice if she got a free reinforce action during the system phase but had to roll 1 less red during combat that round

K-wing with 2.0 reinforce is so much fairer than Miranda. I hope her ability never comes back.

Yeah it basically can't

Worst ffg could do is put it on charges, but without tlt it's still crap

What if it's tied to ye olde bullseye arc...?

Still don't like it because it made a heavy bomber one of the best fighters in the game (5 F***ing Harpoon missiles?! Are you kidding me?!).

G1A Mist Hunter - never got the chance to shine that it deserved, and I'm curious whether they give it any interesting tricks with its dial or action bar this time round.

Scurrg - yeah yeah Nym The Bomber was a terror; I'd like to see if they can't give him something a little more substantive this time round.

E-wing - I'd love to try something that wasn't Corran, for a change.

And I watch what they do with Defenders with careful interest. I really, /really/ liked the TIE/D capabilities in first ed.

so...apparently findsmen were force sensitive?

apparently it's why they were so good at finding, man

hey, it'd be a good way to set em apart from the B and Kim...except for 4-lom. Poor guy ain't getting that gimmick

Depending on just how dumb they want to dive into the Expanded Universe stuff, 4-LOM got a little bit force sensitive? Maybe?

... or just let him have some hilarious ability instead. I would be very okay with that.

1 - The B-Wing. Both for the model itself (will it spin/swing? will the wings close?) and to see how they handle its heavy-janky jouster flight pattern. I'm thinking special bullseye bonuses, most likely.

2 - The HWK. Because it's my favorite model in the game, and its 1.0 incarnation is quite dead, gameplay-wise.

They could make generic Findsman force sensitive. They are making generic Inquisitors that way. Maybe?

I heard that the HWK was getting a mobile fire arc and 2 red dice. I wonder if they lose their turret slot, then? It will be interesting to see what they do.

Pretty much all the classic ships! In terms of gamplay, the s-foils approach on the X-wings looks pretty good from what I have seen, so I'd probably say the X-wing. In terms of a redone ship model, the B-wing (folding wings, but also for the possibility of having some sort of moveable peg).

I would imagine they'd lose the turret slot, but may well pick up the 'gunner' slot instead.

This would be entirely acceptable, although the loss of using them as an ion cannon or the like would be a pity.
