So @melminiatures is probably getting sick of me tagging him on Twitter! I recently bought a couple of Sith Harrowers as well as plenty of S12 Blackbolts and some B28 Extinction Bombers and MkVI Supremacy Fighters and have been tracking my painting progress on Twitter.

I finally got around to putting some of them on the table in the form of a double-VSD (Harrower) Sloane list heavy on the TIEs (S12s). Sadly VSDs aren't the most powerful ships, and the matchups weren't really working out so well for me, but the ships did look awesome on the table!

The paint is still a work-in-progress, but the Harrowers and Blackbolts were at least table-ready so I wanted to get them out for a test drive.

I should probably be preparing for Euros, but here I am heading off to think about whether I could make this list work as a Vader VSDs list instead...

What upgrades were you using? I've run rather sucessful dual vsd lists in the past.

Also the Harrowers look really nice.

Edit: you should get the fury interceptors to replace the lambda's.

This was Escalation so it was building up in stages but the VSDs were kitted out as:

• Wing Commander
• Flight Controllers
• Boosted Comms
• XI7s
• External Racks

Used Sloane and a bunch of TIEs including Howlrunner and Mauler.

I was pretty heavily teched towards killing squads and only faced 2 squads all day so that wasn't ideal. TIEs still put in good work against some of the big ships I faced though.

Definitely have my eyes on the Furys as well!

Yeah that hurts.

I'm honestly more surprised about someone running a clonisher style list.

Yeah, he's been oddly keen on that list the past few events I've seen him at. It's an older list, sir, but it checks out!

Trust me, I can hardly paint! It's just a base layer and a drybrush to get them to that level. Going to do a couple markings and some colour around the engines (again just some drybrushing for the most part), nothing complicated in there!

Got the Sith back in action today, running them as Sloane this time. Good result for the Dark Side, and they looked great doing it!

Just a friendly game, but standard tournament-style 400pt rules for the latest game. The earlier photos from last May were at a tournament though.

Another round with the Harrowers, this time under Jerry's command. Got a big win against some Sloane, but despite the score it was pretty well down to the wire.
