Since the game is clearly not as stifling as had been once believed, they've decided to keep 1.0 indefinitely
as, obviously, it was far more perfect than we knew

Haha this plus Wave XIV makes me feel like 1st edition will be in a decent place when we move on!
Ill actually be excited to come back for a few games (or even a legacy tournament) in the future.
If the new HWK dial is better than the one we currently have, then the new dial still ships. Non-negotiable.

We were told months ago by the X-wing elites that this Worlds doesn't count. Everything has an asterisk, and there weren't any international players there.
So, while 1.0 might not have been as broken beyond repair as we all thought, 2.0 is still on the way because of the "asterisk clause" on the X-wing doomsday clock.

Someone pointed out that the dial is identical to the Sheathipede’s dial, minus the reverse. With it needing to reverse to dock with the Ghost (at least in lore), all signs point to it not being tha HWK dial.
I was a little bummed when that was brought to my attention.
