The best pie I've personally made is Sweet Potato. Roasted the potatos in the oven first, mixed in some spices, some citrus. **** good stuff. Blows pumpkin pie away like Luke at the Death Star.

Cheesecake, great as it is, is just soooooo rich. Maybe a third of the time I get one, I seriously regret it by the time I've finished eating. Don't get me wrong, it's great. But it's also probably as prone to "too much of a good thing" as pretty much any desert.

I'd kinda count DairyQueen Blizzards in the same category, but that's more due to pricing. When the small is $3.20 and the large is $3.80, it's like impossible for me not to get a large, and then you get into the negative marginal enjoyment by the end.
