AT-DT from Solo

By Animewarsdude, in Star Wars: Legion

So, apparently Star Wars Commander has concept art and stuff for the new walker in Solo:

and rebel version

I'm guessing it would be some kind of mobile artillery piece but can't same I'm a huge fan of the rather exposed pilot. I get it for AT-RTs since they are quick recon craft but well I guess it just depends on how the film portrays them be it as relatively quick or slow plodders.

Given the games other liberties with design, I suspect the Solo version is a good bit more enclosed based on the brief shot we've seen.

I think that might be in reference to the fact it's a Rebel version and there's no Rebel version in Solo, but yeah the trailer definitely gave more an impression of an AT-ST sort of size than an AT-RT. That might just have been the audio cues they chose for it though.

Everything old is new again.

He does seem a little short, for a stormtrooper.

I kind of wonder if it's designed as a heavier, mobile anti-air defense walker. Something that would make sense to a degree and would have been a massive aid for the Imperial Troops on Hoth and several other places.

I just realized: Even the the openable viewport is an exact copy from the Flak 36/37...

I thought he atdt was the one from rebels?

What's he need it for? His head is higher than the hole.

It's the Star Wars: Commander version.

The stormtrooper riding it is comically oversized.

The same goes for the Rebels AT-RT ingame.
