Aside from the TC video, are there any other 2.0 gameplay videos anyone has a link to? I missed the live stream and I'm bursting to catch some 2e
2.0 Gameplay
Bell of Lost Souls had one

Edited by ForgottenloreOne thing I've seen no one comment on yet:
How much of an advantage are Force users getting in 2.0? It seems like they get an extra OP mechanic that non Force users get. If that is the case why would you take anything but Force users? What does that mean for Scum when they don't have any Force users?
I know I'm probably in the minority but I like the non Force aspect of Star Wars far more than the magic side of it. I liked that 1.0 didn't make Force users on a separate tier from non Force user pilots.
Because Vader is likely a translated 42 points in the current system. With no upgrades. There is going to be a big cost to the Force Users.
The force use is just another mechanic and it will (presumably) be costed appropriately. Some cards gain a token every turn that they can use for effect. There is not much mechanical difference between a crew Card with a force rating and an astromech Card with a charge rating.
as people have covered, the force is GREAT but expensive
there's no direct comparison, but we have two lists from the team cov. video and from the worlds streams
Team Cov had
Steele (ruthlessness, fcs)
Feroph (elusive, Krennic, those coordinate dudes)
3 Black Cracks
Worlds had
Vader (force sense something, fcs, cluster missiles)
4 Black Cracks
now obviously, we have no idea what the real costs are, but we know Black Crack = Black Crack and therefore
Steele (ruthlessness, fcs) + Feroph (elusive, krennic, coordinate dudes) = Vader (force sense something, fcs, cluster missiles) + black crack
so an upgraded Steele + a loaded (if HORRIBLY built) Reaper = an upgraded Vader + a black crack
so we can imagine Vader's worth a pretty penny

I saw that list on the Bell of Lost Souls playthrough, was it duplicated?

Yup, the 2nd livestream indicated naked Vader is 84 pts (new squadron build target is 200, so about 42 v1-pts naked). Granted ATC is built in now, but...ummm...yeah, FFG seems to understand the new Force mechanic is POWERFUL. Situational, too, though - it looks easy to get caught with your pants down if you over-extend and don't have a plan to get out. But...well, I mean, this is Star Wars we're talking about, so...
You underestimate the power of the Dark Side!
Edited by xanderfSo far the Force abilities revealed for Luke and Vader aren't terribly OP as far as I can see.
Luke's printed ability works out to be basically the same as current, just via a different mechanic, with the added bonus of Poe-like soft focusing without need for the focus action itself. Figure that advantage over current Poe is offset by R2-D2 being limited to 3 uses and the likely higher point cost than current Luke.
Vader's printed ability is largely the same, again just via a different mechanic, except he can chain to 3 (or more) actions now, and again, this is offset by the fact that he can't turtle up (no evade action) and can't boost (Engine is gone from 2.0) and costs a lot more.
In 1.0, no, they wouldn't.
In 2.0, yeah, they are. I guess you just sort of have to remember the game when it was simpler, and Assault Missiles were going to bring the apocalypse.

It would have been a ROYAL pain to balance, but it would have been kinda cool if rebellion force users had weaker force powers but recharged 2 a turn, while imperial force users had strong powers but they cost more force and only recharged 1 a turn (or not at all). Or something like that to differentiate light and dark sides.
Like a said, hideous to balance, but boy would it have been thematic.
But the dark side isn't stronger
It's quicker, easier, more seductive...
Anyway, we can distinguish them through faction specific force upgrades

Exactly, dark side starts with a bunch so they can quickly do a bunch, while the light side is much stronger in the long run because they can use more every round without running out.
Anyway, just an idle game design thought.

They have Asajj Ventress and Maul
