Happy Star Wars Day for everyone not in the Netherlands I guess.
Today is going to be a good day. My T-Shirt I am going to wear says so.
Happy Star Wars Day to everyone across the world (and at Worlds)!
I just booked my tickets to see Solo, so I'm on a high right now.

Well, Armada is dead anyways so let's remember.
I was born 7 years after the first Star Wars movie. I didn't know there was a sequel until I was almost 10.
When i think Star Wars, I recall all the myth and music and magic of the movies. But I also recall long nights with my brothers, days sick from school, getting to watch the special editions in theaters with my parents. I remember the weird neighbor with the insane laserdisc home theater down the street. I remember a friend's uncle with an apparently unique film poster I haven't seen before or since (multiple starfighters battling from Return of the Jedi). I remember hundreds of hours devouring the old novels on school playgrounds and in long nights at home. I remember the day my dad walked in with multiple novels from Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire trilogy from our local library.
I remember my childhood, and all my friends along the way.
Thank you, Mr. Lucas.

My Grandfather’s resting place is at Arlington national cemetery, it is an honor to visit and remember / to see what paid for me to sit here and be free.
