Heyyyyy...waitaminute...

Are those TIE Fighters blue???

Not sure what I think about that...is the Empire finally standardizing on a single color across all units?

@boba crew

You place the ship he's on last, and I bet you can place it just like the current old Han. I mean new Han... Han: The Failure. Resistance Han. Yes.

How about "Setup: start in reserve" on Boba Fett crew?

That caught my eye too, but other stuff got in the way. An indication of a reserve mechanic?

Horton has Outmanuver on his card. EPT Horton so glorious

Probably. They’re just standardizing on the wrong color.

That imperial dial on the right, is that the new TIE Advance Prototype dial? Because I can't think of any other Imperial ship with green 1 turns. In that case it's Straight 4 is now white but it gets 2 talon rolls in compensation. Seems like a good trade.

Edit: The left dial looks like the Gunboat dial btw. No changes there in that case.

  • The droid 'Calculate' action token? I guess it confirms K2-SO as a pilot??

I'm willing to bet there's at least an astromech that utilizes Calculate tokens. But hoping it means K2-SO is in the pilot spread.

K2S0, Chopper, AP-5... rebels have plenty of droid pilots.

It's the imperial calculate that stumps me.

There's gotta be an Imperial character with some kind of cybernetic/droid/implant, right?

?Admiral Screed?

FFG already has art for him from Armada. But...I dunno, just cybernetic implants, there. Kind of a stretch...

Can anyone make out what upgrade slot the Marauder title grants? picture here

Also, really, no one interested in the concept of a reserve? :P See Boba Fett here.

Appears to be a Gunner. The Y-wing has them.

Reserve appears to mean you don't set up with the rest of your ships at the start of the game. They mentioned making more cards that interact with setup like Resistance Han.

It's for placing ships on the field mid match in a random direction.

The Core Set uses it to respawn ships.

Rebel conversion kit spread:

  • The droid 'Calculate' action token? I guess it confirms K2-SO as a pilot??
  • A cloak token?! Since when do Rebels have cloak??
  • Hey, look - something has a 1-backwards maneuver

swz13_a3_y-wing_spread2.png

Y-Wing spread:

  • Apparently there is a new upgrade slot - note the 'turret' and 'crew' slots in the above Rebel spread are the same as we are used to. So...'gunner' slot? And the Y-Wing has one? That's...cool.

swz07_a1_empire_spread.png

Imperial conversion spread:

  • Another droid 'calculate' token. Now I'm stumped - what Imperial pilot is a droid?

in the rebel spread tokens from left to right:

Cloak, Reinforce, Tractorbeam, Weapons disabled, "calculate droid"(see below), jam

at the ywing its an Ion token! The force token is in the imperial spread the purple one, when its exhausted it looks the same but red!

Here this droid calc symbol is somhow related to an action as seen at the IG-88A, which also might have some interactions with droids like Guri or 4-LOM.

I feel like people aren't making a big enough deal out of this. HE HAS AN EPT. OUR HOPES AND DREAMS ARE REALIZED.

That flipping mechanic might make some existing acrylics unusable. But can't think of any right off the bat. I hope to use a lot of my existing acrylics.

I was just wondering how many of my nifty acrylics from 1.0 would be usable. Was hoping the answer was "more than none" but....not sure now.

I don't think any of the acrylics are double-sided so I think they'll work fine with the flipping mechanic. The flipped side will just be blank.

The calculate tokens are droid specific actions. They replace focus and are a small focus, only able to change one focus result to a hit or evade and if the ship gets ioned they cannot perform it unlike all other pilots being able to perform the focus action. The only plus side to calculate tokens is that apparently ships with them will be able to generally get multiples of them, especially the IG-88s.

Thanks for the insight, so for the imperials al i can think of right at this moment is the courierdroid ?

I thought Yorr was a robot

Pretty sure the majority of acrylics will work just fine! The exception seems to be target locks, 'cause they need to have numbers on. (Though you could easily mod the ID tokens to have letters instead, and use your old acrylics.)

I know, right??

IT GETS BETTER!!!

Who's that riding shotgun...veteran turret gunner? Wait, somebody is riding shotgun??!

Horton has an EPT AND CREW!!!

It was literally the first (and only) thing I've noticed. I've kinda glossed over the rest. The new Y-wing sculpt is awesome too. With an actual turret, not just ridges on the cockpit.

BT-000 and the other droid from Vader's comic could be making an appearance. I don't think force tokens are limited to force-sensitive pilots; it's more like "the will of the force" in my opinion.

I'm excited for droid focus. I could see a CIS faction with attani-like powers in that regard. the four different token types really open the doors for some cool designs down the road.

Watch the videos guys. Alex was spending lukes force tokens and flipping them over to a red side, because he can flip them back frequently throughout that game.

Same with charge and shield tokens. R2 still regens some shields, so the tokens are set up to not be removed, just flipped to an inactive side, even some charged cards can be reloaded or refreshed.

Don't accidentally flip the table, or strike it hard enough to make tokens jump
