the radicals handbook is just that ( i think)

By SmeedandSmoot, in Dark Heresy

Hey there, im new to the whole forum thing so i figured id just throw this out there. im just looking for thoughts or comments on the radicals handbook (and if the situation arises the inquisitors handbook)

I am thinking of using the radical inquisitor with the daemon sword as a recurring villian in the campaign I am currently running.

i was debating about having a few mid to high profile inquisitors start disappearing and having the PCs investigate. This would eventually lead to a moral dilemma when the PC's finally confront him and discover that he is preparing to stage an attack on the Inquisition due to a long kept secret ( still working on the secret as of yet) forcing the PCs to choose where there loyalties lie. With the God Emperor or for the ideals that the Inquisition "supposedly" stand for.

Any thoughts?

Mesmeron and her ideology should be seductive. Really show off the power and efficiency they can bring to bear- how many innocent lives she can save- by embracing such ways. Also showcase the red tape and beaurocracy that hampres the less radical inquisitors, whoa re forced to not use deviant methods of investigation and combat. Definitely show them the advantages of radicalism- the disadvantages should be subtle at first. Radicalism starts with those first, harmless sins after all. And, as a villain, mesmeron is fare more dangerous is she threatens to become the hero of the adventure than if your pc's just have to track her down and shoot her.
