Polish leaks for 2.0 with dodgy second hand translations.

I'm just glad Palps is back to his old self of being able to look at your results before using him. As a former die-hard Palp Aces player, this looks like a solid reinterpretation of him. Also I doubt that any Imperial pilot that can carry him is going to have force powers, but you'll probably be able to stack with another crew on the Decimator.

Oh, we also know that the Deci is still 16 hit points. Which combined with reinforce and the change to shoot twice is going to make that thing gnarly. Looking forward to it.

also no more guessing ? (ninjaed)

anyway, the Deci will be interesting

it won't play ANYTHING like it used to because it just can't boost at all. So it might actually be the menacing tank it looks like instead of just some nancy PWT with an edgy facade

i get the feeling Luke is also removing the option for some other sweet cards.
Note that he has a unique upgrade icon weve never seen before. Turret ships might all have that (or at least the PWT ones) and they could be pretty mean, while Luke just goes "You no dodge me!"

Sideways arcs are really hard to avoid as it is, i rarely see a Lancer with its side arc activated get dodged.

edit: oh and i wanna point something out....the deci has 5 actions. The deci has FIVE ACTIONS. They finally killed that stupid "No more than 4 actions printed on the pilot card" bullcrap!

also forgot,

the best part about new palp: ain't gotta buy a raider

edit: HOLD UP a sec

I completely missed that luke is a TURRET, not a crew

now that's just weird ? wonder what implications that's going to have

I know we don't officially know this yet, but Palp shows 2 crew slot icons, Luke shows a gunnery station icon.

Does that mean that the Falcon can potentially carry Chewbacca (pilot), Luke (gunner), Leia (crew), R2-D2 (crew) and possibly one more gunner, Han (least likely)?

The Luke card is a different upgrade type than standard crew. Interesting.

we have literally no way of knowing

might have only 1 crew or might not even get to carry crew on the yt-1300, if they decide to convert it to a combat ship and keep crew reserved for stuff like the U

Speaking of crew, you guys think we'll finally get Obi-Wan crew?

I doubt that most ships will have more than one gunner upgrade. The slot looks to be really strong, with the other previewed one giving you two attacks. I'm also imagining that Luke is going to be really expensive, and if you use his ability you don't get the force modification, so I'm not sure that he'll warp the game too much.

At the least they've got to still be pilots for the HWK. It's the ship they're known for, and the entire reason it's in the game.

Luke is a Gunner upgrade now, and he competes with at least one other strong Gunner card.

And giving free dice-modification. He better cost and arm and a leg.

Only one or the other in a given round though, and he only modifies a die if you use it for that. I'm sure he won't be cheap though.

Not a 'turret', per se - see the icon for a turret on the ion turret, here.

...but not a crew, either (see Chewie)

Seems like we've got a new slot for "gunners".

(Hey, here's hoping the Y-Wing has one!)

Confirmed over in the "All Wings Report In" article. The Y-Wing pack spread shows a "Veteran Turret Gunner" card with this new gunner icon. We can also see a prebuilt version of Horton (Threat 3) that lists the Vet Turret Gunner as one of his upgrades.

i imagine the ywing would have one since technically it is a duo-crew ship isnt it?

Wow, hadn't caught that the first time through. Not sure how I derped out on that - I guess just so much information coming in it's difficult to process, but...*oof*, that's a pretty big upgrade to the Y-Wing. Primary attack followed by turret attack! Of course, no more 360 arc, so...less painful than it was, but...impressive, though.

Looking at those images closer...I mean, the 'Rebel spread' linked above.

A 'calculate' token?

A CLOAK TOKEN??

I think droid pilots will exclusively be able to calculate, so AP-5 maybe?

Jedi usually stick with costing hands.

The Calculate token isn't a surprise, as there are likely to be Droid pilots.

As I have said, the Gunner upgrades are why you can't just dismiss turrets. Luke is kind of what I was expecting them to do. Also, there is one in the Scum spread that gives the SF double tap to the Firespray.

Luke is very strong, let you use your turrent like you use it in 1.0, but you are chosing him in the place of a card that would let you atack again, so... dificult decision lol

Yeah, with all the data that we’ve gotten these past few days, I’ve missed a few things, thus have been re-combing through stuff.

That kind of double tap has me encouraged for Y-Wings.

I believe calculate tokens are based on droid pilots and upgrades.

the cloak token is very interesting, as is the dial we see that had a red one reverse shown on it. The dream (for me at least) is that those two things belong to the HWK, but we’ll have to see.

Luke seems like he may be very powerful, basically reverting any Turret ship he’s on back to 360 firing arc

I, for one, welcome our new Skywalker overlords.

It’s been a while since Luke played a good game

really puzzled by that cloak token in the rebel spread. What ship in the rebel force even could take a cloak?
Could be a modification i guess. If so hopefully its not "it can fizzle out turn one" crap (give it like 3-5 charges and every turn if you end the round with a cloak token, spend 1 charge to remain cloaked?)

Maybe Stealth Device 2.0?
