Some neat info in these articles. I did not know that the millennium falcon's engine noises came from P-51 piston engines.
I have comment previously on how most of the combat footage in the original trilogy was ported over from WWII aerial combat footage. ( https://www.starwars.com/news/from-world-war-to-star-wars-dogfights) What I didn't catch were the references to Karelian Isthmus or to the German word 'kessel' or 'cauldron' or 'pocket'.
